The Windward had been a staple of my childhood. This was my family vacation spot every year until I was 12 and I have been coming back here every so many years for 30+ years ! I write this review as a thank you for those memories. I learned to swim at the kiddie pool and it was the last family vacation in 2013 before my mom passed. It is my hope the Windward will continue to be. Thank you for the memories??

We love this place! Will and Pat are the best hosts and help make our vacation memories so special. The rooms are very clean. The Windward has a family atmosphere. We visit here multiple times each season and always make new friends! The Windward keeps us coming back each year!

We have been going to the Windward for over 30 years. Our first time was the summer before they were pregnant with Allie. A group of us would go down two or three times over the summer. At first we took our children, than some of their friends families would want to come also. Now we are taking our grandchildren. We have recommended the Windward to many of our friends, that now go there also. Pat and Will are the best, the biggest reason we keep going back. They are always busy with the up keep and improvement of their property. The rooms and pool are always clean, their helpers are always pleasant and helpful, and we’ve made friends with many of the other quests that are very nice also. Somehow Will always gets the weather to be at its best while we’re there. Now as senior citizens, if Will would please start moving the ocean closer for us. Until than, the exercise is wonderful for us and we have used a sand taxi a couple of times also.

Drove up from Charlotte NC last week of July on short notice to see family.While in NJ decided to head south to Wildwood for a few days to relax and get some time in on the beach.Decided to stop at the Windward first as we had stayed here several times before.Walked in with no reservations but the owner Pat was very welcoming and managed to get us a room for our four night stay.As usual the room and property was clean and very well maintained. Friendly family atmosphere and large heated pool.Will definitely be back again.Thanks again Pat.

What an awesome place to stay! The owners were super friendly and the rooms were very clean. They have an awesome heater pool, open till 11. Convenient location. Walk across the street to the boards and the beach. Cute dinner one clock down with a convenience store. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Booked our vacation here based off of the few, but great Yelp reviews. So glad I did! The location is perfect for our family. Quiet at night but just across the street from the boardwalk and beach. Great pool, perfect temperature every day and the pool is open for evening swimming which was a nice surprise! Complimentary coffee and donuts at the lobby area each morning. Very family friendly and you can tell there are many families who come every year. The owners get to know you and really engage with their guests which is lovely. Room was clean and cool when we checked in and beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Couldn't be happier. We will see you next year, Windward!
