about 2 months agoGreat little motel right off the boardwalk. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean and beds did the job! Not much more you can ask for from a little motel down the shore. Clean is key! Nice pool area too and I love that it closed at 7pm since we have a toddler and wanted it to be a little more on the quiet side.

2 months agoFirst time staying, only 1 night, but would definitely stay there again. Rooms were definitely vintage (I love the old Wildwood motels!) Everything was super clean, this is not one of the seedy motels. Pretty big fridge/freezer. My only complaint is that the pool doesn't open until 10 and there is very little shade there.

2 months agoVery nice cozy little motel. Rooms are clean with microwave, coffee maker and a good sized refrigerator. Water pressure in shower is excellent. Nice pool with chairs and umbrellas around. Staff is very responsive and helpful. Parking space for all guests are available and free. Parking spaces are very narrow though. Boardwalk is a very short walk away. Safe and nice neighborhood

3 months agoThis is not a 5 Star property - it is 1950s era motel, but it is very clean and well maintained. It is across the street from the boardwalk in what I'd call a quiet area in Wildwood. Our ferry back to DE was cancelled, and I didn't want to drive all the way around, so I looked for an inexpensive room for the night. I was pleasantly surprised by the Starfire Motel. Clean rooms with nice furniture, fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Very nice and friendly clerk, and free parking. They have a pool and a small area is blocked off for the little ones. Apparently this motel was owned by the same family for a very long time and was recently sold. I would recommend it for a budget friendly stay at Wildwood.

3 months agoI’m pregnant. The room was so humid that I couldn’t breathe and was overheated in order to be able to sleep. We left after I tried my best to sleep. Ruined the whole wedding anniversary weekend. The staff leaves at 7pm, so I guess we will call for a refund in the morning. Great location, but the air conditioning unit and ceiling fan needed like a dehumidifier or something because it was so muggy in the room. Room decor was dated for the cost per night as well. It was clean is the only positive I can give on the room.
