This place is absolutely disgusting. Run down. The building looks like it hasn’t been touched for any kind of renovation ever. The beds were gross, spots on the sheets. There was hair on the bathroom floor. The kitchen area was nasty, stains in the utensil drawer. Cobwebs on the stained lamp cover. The pool had a department of health closure sign in the fence, and we were told to just swim as it was fine. Um no thanks. We decided to leave that evening after being there a whole three hours and go to another hotel, we were not given any refund. I do NOT recommend that anyone stay here. It’s horrible.

Room was dirty, lots of hair on floors and shower. Feet got dirty walking on floor. Old, small tvs with poor reception. Beds are ok. Pillows bad. View and location are fantastic. Cheap enough for this close to boardwalk but go to dollar tree and buy clorox wipes, a mop and floor cleaner.. A fan or dehumidifier would be helpful.

I stayed at BEACH TERRACE HOTEL two years ago, and it met our needs. Nothing fancy, but the rooms were spacious, clean, and well stocked. Like most Wildwood motels, updates would be nice, but cleanliness matters most to me. I have learned from past experience to bring my own cleaning products as well as any Extra bedding or pillows so that something like that does not ruin my trip. In July 2025, we stayed at Landmark Hotel and had a terrible experience. The room was tiny, outdated, and the “private balcony” was actually a shared concrete walkway. A private balcony is a must for my family, so this was extremely disappointing. When I contacted the hotel about canceling due to the misleading description, they refused a refund because of their strict cancellation policy. The staff was rude, and we were placed in a room facing another hotel and a trash-filled parking lot. We were completely stuck. Beach Terrace Hotel was a much better experience. Large rooms, a stocked kitchen, private balcony, and pool/ocean views in every room. The location is perfect—right on the boardwalk near rides, water parks, shops, and the beach. For the price, you get what you pay for. I’m returning this year and will update after my July 2026 stay.

Other than the location, this place is extremely bad. The tub in the bathroom area has a combination of mold and rust all over the place. Everything in the room looks like it has been there for 15 years and falling apart. Overall the room looks quite dirty from the floors to the broken walls. You flush the toilet and hot water starts coming up. Elevators broke down and the front desk blamed it on the customers. Other than the woman at the front desk, everyone else is quite rude to address any issues. I wouldn't come back if the room was free for a month.

If you’re going to the beach Terrace expecting it to be a high-end place, you will be let down. It is though great value, excellent location and adequate rooming at the shore. The place is fairly clean, beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning adequate. The balconies have a great view of the Wildwood boardwalk. The pool was nice. And they do the best they can with what they have to work with. Good value, great location.

Stayed here in 2025. The room was old, garbage beds.... by that i mean, the edges of the bed sag and you end up on the floor. Had to spray the room down with Fabreeze. AC was good. When I turned it on, it froze us out. The sliding glass doors needed replacing due to pitting. The restaurant was closed. The front desk people did their job but, just didn't seem to give a damn. In my eye, this once fashionable hotel needs a serious facelift by an owner who isn't there to simply milk it for what they can. I've been coming to Wildwood since the early 70s. Stayed in many hotels. This one can be summed up by saying, "Their give a damn is busted". Read your reviews!

The only great thing about this is the location but that does not out way any of the other HORRIBLE issues with this place. I stayed here with some friends and family in August of 2025, and to put it plainly - - the rooms had never been cleaned, all of our feet were black after 10 mins of walking in to our rooms - one of the beds in our room had BLOOD on the sheets and eyelash clusters/strips and when we informed the front desk all they said/did was take the sheets off and put ‘’new” sheets on, they did not disinfect the bed and the “fresh” sheets had other mystery stains -the balcony door didn’t lock and they are interconnected so anyone could hop over onto ours, that was not safe AT ALL, and other residence would put their WET underwear hanging over the connecting railings, and would be blasting loud music all hours of the night and bang on the wall and the front desk did nothing about it -when we asked for more pillows, they said that they don’t offer that and they don’t have anymore and when we asked for more clean towels, they said that they ran out -In the bathroom, the ceiling was exposed, and you could see the wires in the ceiling and walls and when the water came out, it was a foggy green color -The pool itself was probably the only thing that may have been maintained, but the hot tub look like a science experiment, with all the bubbles in different shades of green - this place is not worth any amount of money for the trouble that we had to go through and I felt like I would never be clean again after my stay - i’m only giving this place a two star review because they are harder to remove if I could I’d give them -8 stars

If you are looking for a hotel that takes “roughing it” to Olympic levels, look no further. I stayed here in June 2025 and everything in my review is based on that visit, with photos to support each detail. My goal is to help others make an informed decision. Cleanliness: The first room I was assigned had not been cleaned, which the staff acknowledged and did move me from. The second room was “made up” but still had visible cracks, peeling paint, mold on the lampshades, rust on fixtures, and exposed wires in the walls. All issues were documented in photos and shared with management. Safety: The doors to the balcony did not function, and all balconies are interconnected, making it easy for anyone to cross from room to room without restriction. I felt unsafe storing valuables or leaving the balcony door unlocked. Facilities: The pool appeared to be the only area maintained, but the hot tubs looked like science experiments gone wrong. I did not see evidence they had been cleaned in quite some time. The DJ noise coming from several other locations next-door is appalling during all hours of the day and night. Customer Service: When I asked to cancel my final night, management initially said to “dispute the charge with your credit card.” This was not possible, as the contract states all nights are non-refundable. When this was pointed out, management simply refused to credit the night and said I had to pay regardless. Conclusion: While the hotel is convenient to local attractions and some rooms offer a decent view, none of these positives outweigh the safety, cleanliness, and service concerns. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone seeking a safe or pleasant experience.

Stayed here this past weekend . I’ll with pros . Amazing location, steps away from Morey’s pier which was so convenient. The beds were quite comfortable despite how the looked . The AC worked phenomenal . We had an ocean view room so we were able to see the sunset from our balcony . Parking was free and convenient. Julie at the front desk was outstanding. Now for the cons . The room was dirty and gross . The floors were so dirty . I put a towel down to stand on and picked it up and it was brown from how dirty it was . The bathroom smelled like straight old urine . Had brown splatter on the toilet and wall that looked like poop . The toilet had poop stains all in it (obviously not cleaned) The bathroom walls and ceiling were covered with black mold . Shower curtain had stains all over . The ceilings itself had black mold I’m assuming from the moisture being so close to the ocean . The man at the front desk was to involved with his phone to care about anything. As I was asking him questions he flat out was texting and scrolling . Extremely unprofessional and clueless. If you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke , do not bother coming here . Chain smokers everywhere . The smell went through the vents and our room smelled like pure cigarettes . We had to leave the balcony door and entrance door open to air it out and it still didn’t help . The towels were the tiniest I have ever seen , you need about 4 of them for one shower . The hot tub water was brown and had a smoggy film over the surface of water . Pool was absolutely gross I wouldn’t even got near it . The convenience was great but the cleanliness was lacking immensely
