Good location to the beach and boardwalk, even a Dollar Store across the street. The room was small and hours posted (front end versus signs in room for check-out etc) were different, making it a bit confusing at times. Most parking spots are "piggy back" parking unless you manage to grab one of the few that are not. Owner seemed friendly enough, but the younger guy (teens/20s?) seems to have a real attitude problem over the phone and in person.

Absolutely disgusting. Most ghetto place ever. Dude who checks you in is a creep and was railing cigarettes in the office before checking us in. Rooms are Absolutely disgusting. Mold in the fridge, shit all over the inside of the toilet. We didnt even sleep under the covers thats who disgusting this place was for just one night. They literally have car airfresheners hanging from the curtains to try to mask the smell of the Absolute filth. Cleaning lady is rude. Also, dont request early check in bc they will approve it and then not show up or answer until 2 pm. Spend the extra money for somewhere worth staying!!!!

Where do I even begin. I was OK with writing a halfway decent review in the beginning. I want to say first that the 5 starts reviews on here are friend and family and lies. Had 3 different receipts showing different check in times emailed 2x days before and called no response got in at 2pm was finally checked in by someone who came from a curtain. However my husband was parking and I was walking towards him as the maid was yelling at him our room was not ready and to back off. Awesome start! Sat in our car for an hour till she finally left the room door left wide open. Still not a deal breaker we go in our room I know what we paid for so no problem brought our own cleaning supplies re cleaned as best we could be. No one ever is in office! Fly paper hanging from everywhere. Fast forward decided to go in the pool when everyone else left for dinner. While swimming looked over to see the people in the room next to us eyeballing our stuff to steal. Had to send the husband over immediately weird. Next day witnessed the cleaner of the pool sweeping not cleaning them dumping random 5 gallon jugs that day corrosive with green liquid into the pool. No more swimming for us!! We were there for the convention and to visit my clients did those things cake back about 3;30 4 and was waiting for our food we ordered to arrive. The plan was to eat then go to the beach and boardwalk for our anniversary.... yeah nope as we were waiting for the food abe laying on the bed two random guys knocked once and just walked in. I mean privacy laws what if I our my husband or heaven forbid my kids were there were naked sleeping or whatever. Put a piece of tape on air which didn't work anyway. (BTW my husband cleaned the filters when we got there). They want you to leave your keys so they can move your car which is also nuts to me. Then while we were highly concerned about strangers just waking in on us we canceled our evening to stay so we can watch our stuff. Seems like family and friends of the owner stay there extended lengths as they sat right next to us talking crap assuming because I'm white I don't understand Spanish. Talking shit very nice. They even have a sign that says if there is a problem and you call the police you will be evicted just crazy brought our own door stop and slept with a knife. Only good thing was close to the boardwalk. While place is trash including the people stay far away and remember all the good reviews are lies video is on tik tok and I've got a thousand photos. Had to also lock my card to keep them from erroneous charges. Craziest thing I've ever experience! RUN

On the bright side, this hotel is in a good location, very close to the Boardwalk and beach. It also has two pools. One is very small but the other one is a decent size. Also, I wouldn't say it was particularly clean, but it wasn't particularly dirty either and there were no signs of bugs at least. Now for the downsides... I've stayed in many different hotels in Wildwood and many of them have been far from luxurious, but this is the worst one I've seen. We had been staying at a much nicer hotel earlier in the week, but we decided to stay around a few extra days and they had no rooms left, so we found whatever we could. For over $300 a night after tax, this place should be a lot better than it was. For starters, the door didn't properly close so you couldn't lock it. That's a big problem. Secondly, the toilet was constantly getting clogged even though nobody was taking a dump. It was just randomly getting clogged multiple times. Additionally, a curtain over the front window was too small for the window, so even when it was covering the window, you were still exposed about 6 inches on the side of the window and 6 inches on the bottom of the window, so there wasn't really any privacy. There was also some rust found around the room, including in the refrigerator/freezer. It was one of the smallest and most outdated motel rooms that I've ever been in, but that's kind of to be expected in Wildwood, so that's not a big deal. One of the bed had a headboard and the other one just had a tiny piece of wood screwed into the wall where the headboard would be. That was kind of weird. Also, they don't seem to clean the room or give you new towels other than when you first check in. Another issue we had was the parking. They have limited traditional parking there so you have to do "piggyback" parking, where the cars park all in a row blocking each other in. Then everybody has to give their car keys to the hotel to hold so that they can move the cars around to let people out if somebody has to leave. We were fortunate to get a spot where we didn't have this issue, but, because we didn't want to lose our parking spot, we couldn't use our car the entire time we were there. I definitely would not recommend this hotel for these reasons.

Honestly this hotel is not what most reviews say it is. First off, a huge group of maybe high schoolers or college kids took up all the rooms except for the room we were staying in. They drank, smoked, and trashed everything. The cops were called twice. The pool was even dirty before we even checked in. The room itself looked old, your feet were dirty just walking around, and the doors were broken. Bottles of beer were in the pool. While I like the location, they didn't do anything about the group of people destroying the hotel.

Had such a blast at this 5 star resort. Loved the rooms, such a great experience. Will be coming back soon

I stayed at Royal Court Motel recently and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The rooms were very clean and spacious and were perfect for a great week at the beach. The staff were also so welcoming! The location is fantastic as well. Can’t wait to be back!

We had such a great stay here with our family! The hotel was in a perfect spot right by the beach, which made it super easy to spend our days enjoying the ocean and the views. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and always helpful whenever we had a question

Disappointed in this hotel. My son and his friend rented a room after their prom. His friend is 19 and he is 1 month shy of 18 so we looked to see which hotels had an age restriction. The website to this hotel stated if under 21 a deposit is needed, which I made sure it was covered. They drove over an hour and arrived at 1 AM. They were tuned away because it's up to the manager and he didn't want them. I could understand if they were drunk or a big group of kids but it was 2 of them. And you turned them away at 1 in the morning.You really need to fix your website and abide by what it says.

Great bedrooms great people and staff had a wonderful stay down here definitely recommend 10/10 stay management was wonderful and very helpful.
