My room was very clean and bug free, the air-conditioning was cool and my children enjoyed their morning shows on the TV. We really enjoyed being directly across the street from Wildwood's sunrise on the boardwalk. The property manager Ms. Patel was very helpful and welcoming; when we arrived she greeted us with a smile and gave me a key to an affordable spotless room directly across the street from Wildwood's Beach balls. Due to overpriced hotels, my children and I were only able to stay 1 night in Wildwood. The Sunray Motel was affordable enough for my children and I to enjoy 3 nights in Wildwood. The Sunray Motel is peaceful and the beds were very comfortable; I enjoyed the white bedding and towels. Not having too many amenities was just what we needed to get us outdoors enjoying the beach and other enjoyable things that the Wildwoods offer. I left an expensive pair of sneakers at the Searay and housekeeping returned them to me, I enjoy honest people and will stay here again.

We called to check room availability at like 10pm in route to a impromptu beach getaway on a very busy peak weekend. We were delighted to find a room that was available for us, for 1/3 the price of others in the immediate area! First impressions were of a dated motel with typical hard to navigate, and limited sized parking. We were greeted by an energetic older gentleman that was so happy to have us stay with them. He saw to it that we were happy with the room, and asked if there was anything that we needed. We were pretty well prepared, so we politely passed and went about our evening. My husband named him Mr. Happy.. he really was THAT LOVELY! We were in room 7, on the second floor. The room was dated. The drop ceiling panels have seen better days and were saggy. The futon in the living room area of the suite was pretty badly stained, but was covered in crisp clean linen sheets. The couch was comfortable, and the floors were fairly new, laminate or LVP. Bathroom was very clean, but again dated, and the fan was under powdered. There was plenty of HOT pounding water with great pressure and the shower was a delight after a long travel. I had forgotten shampoo, and the dispenser in the room was empty, but they gave us a large bottle to be left in the room so housekeeping could see to the refill. Beds were comfortable, had fresh crisp linens, and there were plenty of extra blankets. We slept like the dead after spending two late snacky hours on the boardwalk as they were closing up. Housekeeping could be a little more diligent, and I say this only because I do housekeeping in private homes and offices myself. the microwave front was fingerprinted and smeared from dirt hands, as was the mirror in the hallway by the fridge. Paper towels would have been a nice extra in the kitchen, born at least some napkins. Expensive Lavazz coffee was a nice touch, but did not have any creamers or sugars for those who use them. We would have stayed a second night, but they were booked up. They expected a cancellation, and allowed a late check out to see if the cancellation occured. It did not, and the woman who operates the motel made arrangements with a different motel one block away to get us an EXCELLENT rate on a busy Saturday. Talk about SERVICE! She was sorry that the rate was not as good as the Sea Ray, but she walked us there, took care of all the phone calls and permissions and all we had to do was check in. We were impressed with the consideration and kindness that this family treats it's customers , ahem, GUESTS?

If you’re looking for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle, look no further than the Searay Motel. It checks all the boxes for cleanliness, hospitality, safety, affordability, and accessibility to the beach. Your vacation begins right across the street with the entrance to the boardwalk. The room was amazing as well, with a balcony view of the sunset to enjoy an ice cream and watch the seagulls fly overhead. The service staff was very attentive to all our needs, whether it was extra towels or suggestions on the best places to eat in the area. Although the Searay motel doesn’t have the glitz and glamour of more modern hotels, it more than makes up for it with the familiarity and charm of yesteryear. We will definitely be going back the next time we’re in Wildwood.

Older motel but was clean with no bugs. The lady at front desk is one of the most helpful friendly and pleasant people I have ever met at any place I have ever stayed .I will definitely return. Only complaint water in shower could have been a little hotter.

Patel (the front desk lady) is simply AMAZING! She was so kind to my family and she has a great personality. The room was clean. The location (Ocean Drive) is great. I will come here again with my family!

10/10 experience. i wish we got to stay longer but it was nice! very accommodating and i forgot her name but the lady who was there today and last night was amazing, so nice and helpful! and also absolutely hilarious! overall i think it was a solid stay and we will definitely be back!

I stayed in room number nine and it was perfect for me and my two adult sons. They had everything we needed. It was a great location.The staff was very friendly. Ms.Patel was the best. She was so very kind and helpful. Great location, great view of the ocean and a lot of excitement being that close to everything going on. It is not a 5 star motel, but it is enough to go,Have a great time, party and enjoy every bit You can get out of wildwood. The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. The boardwalk and the beach and the wildwood sign and the convention center are all right across the street.

Great location right next to the Wildwoods sign on the south side of the board walk. The manager was kind and helped me and my friends out on short notice when our previous booking fell through. Rooms were clean and the staff was always available when we needed them. Highly recommend ??

This is a very old school modest hotel. No bells and whistles. HOWEVER. The rooms are very clean and new looking. The location is unbeatable it’s got one of the only unobstructed beach views. The lady who runs the place is the SWEETEST, KINDEST, Most accommodating human ever. 100000/10 on her hospitality. We rented #9 and it has 2 double beds, 2 twin size futons, a full size fridge, and efficient kitchen, and the AC is cold! We lucked out and our neighbors switched their room so we have the entire upstairs ocean front balcony to ourselves. It is directly at the end of the wildwoods sign. Couldn’t ask for more!
