This is our third stay and arguably our best yet. I say yet because this will be our annual family vacation spot as long as the building is still standing. We've never had an issue with cleanliness as our rooms have always been spotless. The management and staff are overly accommodating --indeed, they even let us bunker in their lower level office during the tornado scare lol. The rooms have more than we need including a full size fridge and freezer, microwave and toaster. The pool is always clean and at a great water temperature. You are literally a two minute walk from the boardwalk and the place has the quintessential 50's/60's retro vibe. In 2024 we were disappointed to learn that Mark had sold the Motel. But, Misael and the staffs friendliness will keep us coming back for years to come. We highly recommend this motel to anyone who's looking for an old school wildwood experience-- just keep a room on the third floor open for us!

The owner, Misael was accommodating and friendly, Yenni and Joshua were very helpful and friendly at check-in/out. Our stay was great! Pet friendly is hard to find, without the prices becoming inaccessible. We have a special needs cat and traveling with her truly eases our worries. The rooms are out-dated but in the best way, with brand new appliances, a big shower, comfortable beds and AC that will have you wearing a hoodie to bed you will leave feeling nostalgic as if you just stayed at your aunts shore house for the weekend. I loved seeing that there were even regulars of the motel, can’t wait to return and become some ourselves!!!

Had an amazing experience staying at the Island Breeze Motel! First time bringing my pups to wildwood and they loved every second of their stay! Thank you to the staff for being so nice and kind as if us guests were family! The pool was beautiful and rooms were cozy and pet friendly all around! Highly recommend staying here as it is even located RIGHT BEHIND Gateway ?

Misael (I hope im spelling his name correctly) was super nice, patient and accomodating. For pet friendly rooms the rooms were great! (Id stay here even w out a dog). Fantastic location. Pool is perfect and clean. Highly recommend!

Great stay for our family at island breeze. Excellent location to the boardwalk and beach, the owners and staff are super nice, and everything is well kept. Would highly recommend!

Pet friendly, close to the boardwalk. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Would definitely stay here on our next trip to wildwood.

Used to be a great hotel to stay in. Unfortunately, its not being taken care of anymore. We had reserved 4 rooms for our families trip. Upon entering our rooms, most of us found previous visitors items under the beds. The Air conditioner had tons of mold/mildew in it, it smelled. Along with the bathroom and bath tubs just gross for small children to be bathing in. I cleaned the air conditioner out MYSELF best of my ability and also the tub to make sure it was clean before I stuck my kids in. All of our rooms were this way. I figured we would not be affected, as it was only a few short days Sadly, We became horribly sick with bacterial pneumonia. I decided to call but no suprise, nobody answered the phone. never heard back. Will not be returning and its a shame!

Five stars. Enjoyed the stay. Don't listen to the low reviews. Used my company discount to stay here. Smooth check in, friendly staff. Built relationships with the two housekeepers Selma & Natalie. It's Selma's first year here and Natalie's second year here. Go easy on these hardworking young ladies! Pet friendly. Pool (with grills!) on site @ the pool. There's not a mini fridge in the rooms... but even better...a full size one! Bathroom, double beds (NOT BROKEN), small kitchen area that has cupboards, sink, microwave, coffee pot. TV, dresser, hangers, chair and a mirror are also in the rooms. Chairs outside of your room to sit on. Balcony to hang your towels and swimsuits in front of your room. Exactly what we wanted. Early checkout available before the office opens, just drop your room keys in the drop box whenever you want to leave. No check out paperwork involved. God willing, we will be back next year. I had a wonderful time here. Best pet hotel. The owner was very nice and made sure we were ok. You gave my dog my bag of bones. The pool was really nice. And the location was perfect.
