Pet friendly, close to the boardwalk. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Would definitely stay here on our next trip to wildwood.
Used to be a great hotel to stay in. Unfortunately, its not being taken care of anymore. We had reserved 4 rooms for our families trip. Upon entering our rooms, most of us found previous visitors items under the beds. The Air conditioner had tons of mold/mildew in it, it smelled. Along with the bathroom and bath tubs just gross for small children to be bathing in. I cleaned the air conditioner out MYSELF best of my ability and also the tub to make sure it was clean before I stuck my kids in. All of our rooms were this way. I figured we would not be affected, as it was only a few short days Sadly, We became horribly sick with bacterial pneumonia. I decided to call but no suprise, nobody answered the phone. never heard back. Will not be returning and its a shame!
Five stars. Enjoyed the stay. Don't listen to the low reviews. Used my company discount to stay here. Smooth check in, friendly staff. Built relationships with the two housekeepers Selma & Natalie. It's Selma's first year here and Natalie's second year here. Go easy on these hardworking young ladies! Pet friendly. Pool (with grills!) on site @ the pool. There's not a mini fridge in the rooms... but even better...a full size one! Bathroom, double beds (NOT BROKEN), small kitchen area that has cupboards, sink, microwave, coffee pot. TV, dresser, hangers, chair and a mirror are also in the rooms. Chairs outside of your room to sit on. Balcony to hang your towels and swimsuits in front of your room. Exactly what we wanted. Early checkout available before the office opens, just drop your room keys in the drop box whenever you want to leave. No check out paperwork involved. God willing, we will be back next year. I had a wonderful time here. Best pet hotel. The owner was very nice and made sure we were ok. You gave my dog my bag of bones. The pool was really nice. And the location was perfect.
We’ve stayed here twice and have had an excellent experience both times. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty standard but clean and well kept. It’s dog friendly and incredibly close to the boardwalk and the dog beach. Bonus points for not charging you an arm and a leg for a pet fee. And even though it is so close to the boardwalk… It’s so quiet! Just a great experience all around. Will definitely stay there again!
New ownership from last two years we’ve stayed. This year checking in with the young girl wasn’t pleasant at all. It was like we were bothering her. Asked for supplies and she said she’ll drop them off and they never came. When I asked again she said someone probably stole it. The rugs feel dirty and sticky, the bathroom caulk around the shower has black mold. There was stuff left behind under the beds from previous guest. We checked out a day early and I brought the keys down. When I walked in I saw her sitting at the computer and I said hello pretty loud cause usually I do have a low voice but she didn’t acknowledge. I said loud that I was leaving the keys on the desk and still nothing! So I rang the bell that was right there and she turned around as if I was bothering her again. She did ask if something was wrong with the room but I just wanted to leave and leave a review for future guest.
Woman at counter was pleasant when i arrived. As for room service, I was there for 3 days and no one ever checked my room to see if I needed anything.
This place went downhill since new management took over. We stayed in the same room as last year and noticed a significant decrease in cleanliness and service. The bathroom had black mold growing on the floor and shower, we found hair ties, contacts and a can of seltzer on the floor. Prices have significantly increased since last year. We paid 25% more this year and booked through Expedia to get that rate. It would have been close to 40% increase if we booked through the front desk. Last year Mark was incredible, he was friendly, greeted us multiple times during the stay, and had top notch service. This time our rooms were not serviced and we used the same 3 towels the whole stay. Didn’t see management much at all. The location is ideal but for the increased rate and decreased cleanliness/service, we won’t be returning.
