Perfect little family vacation spot! Family owned staff keep everything very nice and clean. We celebrated our 6YO birthday here and will definitely come back again. Out door cooking area and pool kept the kids busy, short walk to the beach and just close enough to all the attractions. The owners are very hard working and ensure you have a pleasant stay!

The Sea Chest motel is a gem in the heart of Wildwood Crest. Our room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Our room had a full size fridge and freezer. There is free WiFi and a HDTV. Johnny, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful. He and his family do a great job keeping this motel looking great. This motel's location is only two blocks from the south end of the Wildwood boardwalk. The motel is one block from the beach. We would gladly stay at the Sea Chest Motel again.

Room was better equipped than I was expecting. The fridge was large enough to stock for a week long stay and worked great. The room came with a 12 cup coffee pot so you can enjoy a glass outside your door while listening to the gulls squeak. Kitchen had all the basics to cook a small dinners if you wanted. Love the multiple port USB charger on the nightstand. This was a nice touch to ensure all devices were properly charged for the next days adventures. Pool was refreshing. Only complaint is that the AC unit was loud. Had to constantly adjust tv volume when it would turn on and off, but worked like a champ!

I booked this hotel on a whim for a long weekend. Let me just say it was such a cute little place. It is family run and the staff were super helpful. When we arrived our room happened to be ready early and John explained everything on arrival. They do not do house keeping daily but if you need anything they are right there to assist. The room was very nostalgic BUT we had a little kitchen with a full fridge , sink , stove, cabinets , microwave and table, that usually doesn’t happen at hotels/motels. We had fresh towels in-front of our room daily. Our room was clean the beds and pillows were very comfortable and it was perfect for what we needed it. The pool was clean and it was convenient to the beach. Would stay here again.

My best friend and I came down for a long weekend with my 2 kids, a toddler and a 2 month old. The Sea Chest was legit perfect for us! Super clean, family orientated, a block from the beach, affordable, and in a quiet area of the crest. The pool was also perfectly gated, if you have small kids, you know. We met John and his son David who were both wonderful! The room had a small kitchen with a sink which was perfect for washing bottles. We couldn’t figure out how the futon worked so we called the front desk, David came over within 5 seconds and showed us and checked in on us to make sure we were okay, that the kids were good, and if we needed anything. We had fresh towels every day. We honestly can’t wait to come back and stay again!

I recently stayed at Sea Chest Motel with my family and we had a great time. The owners are super nice and make sure you have a good and relaxing time at the motel. My boys, 8 and 10 had blast at the pool and the water slide. Motel its located very close to the beach and the kids playground/splash park. A little further away to the boardwalk but we took skooters for kids and were totally fine walking. The rooms are dated but very clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back there this summer.

I come to Wildwood with my family several times a year. We ALWAYS stay at Seachest Motel! The pool is pretty large with a slide. The beach is a very short walk away. The sunset at the lake is also a very short walk away. We love that we can grill and eat on the property. There is an AMAZING playground and water play area that even has bike rentals right around the corner. The owners are sweet and run the place themselves. The rooms are perfect for getting a good night's rest. The place is clean and cared for with love by the lovely family. A small business worth supporting and our family always enjoy seeing all the repeat customers that come back every year.

Our room was filthy the beds were covered in mold and my my 2 and 6 year olds sick and when brought to the owners attention he offered to change the sheets he then agreed to a refund to my face then refused through booking.com he refused to give a receipt for our early check out (I guess I know why now) the pool is ice cold it’s probably the only non heated pool in wildwood the rooms are in dire need of upgrades and to top it all off they offer NO MAID SERVICE. I was also threatened with an upcharge for more people because my brother met me by our car to go to the beach please please please do your due diligence and take it from me stay at any other hotel/motel I have been going to Wildwood for over 30 years and this is the only time my vacation has been cut short. This man is a crook and he just lingers around the property looking for reasons to try and charge you extra fees.

Our family had a great stay, the owners are put in the extra effort. Highly recommended.
