We stayed there for the 1st time and the staff was very friendly along with the other guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back again.

I just want to say this is a great place to stay. The prices are good , it’s clean , very family oriented motel. The owners Chris & Lisa are the best , very friendly , they make sure you are enjoying your stay there , if you need something they would get it for you . With this being there last season there , I wish them the best, you will be missed by my parents & myself

MarLane motel is a definate getaway the prices are reasonable family owned and operated hot coffee every morning quiet area in back yard which loved for reading also bbq Heated pool very clean Daily room service well kept in every way close to everything boardwalk restaurants amusements tennis courts across the street family dollar is a block away just in case you run out of something . Lisa thanks for everything I hope I didn’t forget anything our stay was short but enjoyed every moment at your motel. We’ll be back for sure??????

This is the second year that me and my girlfriend had stayed at the Marlane. We love it here so much!! The rooms are very nice and clean. Lisa and her staff are very friendly, and the location is perfect being that they are close to the beach. We look forward to our next visit.

We have stayed all over Wildwood for over 30 years so we are not strangers to the "Jersey Shore motel experience". Like most motels this one too has it's pros and cons. Pros: Location, you can walk everywhere! Parking was decent, which is a huge pro in Wildwood. Friendly owners live on site, definitely felt like they cared and took good care of their motel. Amenities, coffee in the AM, and a "backyard" area with grills, tables, free ice, laundry. The price was right for Wildwood. Happy to find the beds are memory foam style mattress which is what we have at home due to a back issue, and this is one of the only times we've been away and didn't wake up with a backache (that's why there is no box spring, it's not needed with this type of mattress). Cleanliness, it's pretty clean. I always wipe down everything and this motel was one of the cleaner ones we've been in. The clientele here are couples and families, no rowdy groups or partiers. It was quiet which we appreciated. Only a few cons to speak of. The bath towels are terrible, and I mean really terrible. The towels were clean but there were hairs on them, which I didn't love. I have cleaning rags that are larger and softer, Planet Fitness has better towels. I think it's time to upgrade your towels Marlane! There is no shower head, it's just one of those open sprayer style. The AC in our room was mounted through the wall in the back of the room right at face level, so every time we came in our out of the bathroom or over the to the closet area we would get blasted by cold air in the face, and it couldn't be redirected up. Speaking of the room it was first floor a few away from the office. The layout of the motel meant everyone walked past our room. Coffee and a picnic table was right outside our door, combined with a back window that faced another property. We had to keep the curtains shut the entire time for privacy. There are no sheers or blinds on the windows so we had zero natural light coming in, we legit felt like we were in a basement. (not all rooms will have these issues obviously) Pro or con I'm not sure, they had free beach chairs to use but they were always taken. Heated clean pool, but very small. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons and we would stay here again.

Spent four days with my son's and their families..great place, Lisa and Chris very attentive to all. Wonderful family atmosphere, enjoyed eating and having fun in the back with BBQs where they had tables set up. I hope we can all get back there next year. We really don't want to go to another motel as this one was great..range in ages 76/13..made many friends . Thx Lisa and Chris again for a fun mini vacation..my efficiency room was very well equipped..

We were lucky to get a room due a cancellation. While the room we had was small, it was very clean, the beds were comfortable and we had maid service daily with new towels given and shampoo replenished. The rooms were quiet and while our room was outside a seating area, we never heard the people. The cleaning staff worked hard at cleaning the inside and out, as well as the owner could be seen several times a day cleaning and maintaining the outside area. The other owner manned the front desk and was extremely kind and helpful. Great places to sit outside and in the back they had two large grills and a large sitting area, with an area to hang up wet towels or suits. The hotel provided free beach chairs and boogie boards to borrow. They also had free sports equipment to use in the park across the street. The motel is only a block from the boardwalk and beach. There are several restaurants within walking distance. It was a truly great place to stay and we would definitely go back again.
