Great place for our extended family to stay. Close to the beach and far enough from the boardwalk that it's quiet and family oriented. Welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Will definitely be back ??

We’ve stayed at this hotel for 4 or 5 years. This year, we booked the largest suite possible, which comes with designated parking under the garage for two cars. We have one large vehicle with a roof rack and basket that isn’t easy to remove. When checking in this year for our 5 night stay, I explained that we wouldn’t fit in the garage. The owner noted that they’re totally full Thursday and we need to either take the roof rack off, or move our car a block or two down where there’s free street parking. I was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest, and with three young children, that’s really not ideal. When I informed her not to rebook us for next year, I was then offered a meter pass for the meters across the street for Thursday. Had she provided that when I checked in rather than giving me a hard time about the roof rack, we’d be coming back again next year. Huge disappointment to us- the hotel is great, it’s clean, and located in a nice spot. I just don’t feel comfortable staying at a place that made us feel so unwelcome.

Currently enjoying our vacation here at Armada by the Sea and I have not a negative thing to say! I have been coming to wildwood since I was a baby and now bring my teenage sons. We have stayed at handfuls of places but we have now found our "home"! The rooms are beautiful and newly renovated not to mention SPOTLESS! The layout is wonderful with the 2 separate rooms and full kitchen! The one thing I noticed is that there seems to be grounds keepers working from morning to night keeping the pool and sun deck areas spotless. The pool is super clean and never has anything floating in it. Upon check in, the owners greeted me and told me a quick story about the history of the hotel and how its been in the family since opening. We wont stay anywhere else! We are thoroughly enjoying our stay at Armada by the Sea!

A large group of us were in town for a hockey tournament, most members stayed at another motel, we and a few others stayed here, everyone said they liked the armada by the sea better. Right on the beach, warm pool even in chilly weather, very friendly staff, reasonable rates and most importantly, very clean rooms. Laundry on site, quick elevator, ping pong table and pool table. Parking can be tight but that is par for the course for this area. All rooms have a view of the ocean. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area!

So stayed here for many years (over 8). I became friendly with the owners, its a family run hotel. Can't deny the rooms are clean however, I was going through a rough time one summer. Father was getting his leg removed due to diabetes. My mind was so scattered that I packed up the family a day prior. I get to the counter and as I was checking (packed up, everything in the car) out and the owner say "you know, your check-out is tomorrow"? not asking for a refund I explained my situation and asked for a credit for next year for one day. Was told a solid "No". It was surprising since they a very open about their relationship with God (pamphlets in the office). Obviously found another great stay here in the Crest, there are many....

I had the pleasure of staying here in August and you couldn’t ask for anything better. It’s super clean , can’t beat the location and the owners Steve & Bonnie are wonderful and provide anything you need. Thank you for accommodating my mother and I during our stay. 5th floor highly recommend for the best view. Will be back again

We had a wonderful stay! This hotel has been run by the same family for over 50 years, and you can feel the pride and care in every detail. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making guests feel at home. Each morning, the fresh coffee in the lobby was a perfect start to the day, and the location couldn’t be better—right across the street from a park that hosts live music a couple of nights a week and just steps to the sand. One of our favorite features was the outdoor common area on the second level. We gathered there most evenings to share meals and play cards. It created such a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable place with character, convenience, and a personal touch, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

For our first stay at the Armada, I can say it definitely won't be our last. We were highly pleased with our room, the grounds, and our view was fabulous! We even lucked out with the live music concert being performed in the park across the street. Upon checkout we ran into a personal crisis in which basically the entire staff chipped in to help me and my family. To everyone at the Armada, thank you and we'll be seeing you again!!

This place is awesome. We stayed in a C-1 room type and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. First off, everything was very clean and well kept. The bed was extremely comfortable, my wife (who is 7.5 months pregnant) and I both slept great. The room was equipped with full kitchen and all you would need to prepare a nice meal for your family, as well as living room and dining room. They also have grill access at the pool. And if all that weren’t enough, you’re literally on the beach. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely return ASAP.

Clean and reasonably priced. Everyone was so friendly and it's obvious they care about the property and their guests. See you next year, Armada! :)
