Amazing staff! Room was very clean. The location was perfect. Everyone working the front desk was always very nice and greeted you with a smile. 10/10 would stay here again.

The Tenaglia family is the best on the hotel business. Our stay was an amazing stay as always. Spacious rooms, spotless, staff that takes pride in their work. They treat everyone with respect and kindness. Every need is met.

Our room was clean, comfortable, decent, nice view, friendly, helpful staff. Parking was a bit tight for my Corolla, hard to not scrape the car bottom. Little bit of rust around the shower drain. On the expensive side of a motel room for a night in October. Elevator felt dark and dingy. Great view from the 5th floor.

Mario checked me in he did an amazing job gave me a room that was adequate for my family. He went above and beyond to make sure I was fully informed on all.. he let me know tgat there was a festival goin on and the best entrance to the beach. They have 2 elevators , laundry room, ice and vending machines, as well as 2 pools one heated the other not. Clean spacious rooms.

We loved our room at the Sands in wildwood. My husband is handicapped and we loved the accessibility to the pool and the rest of the property. Motel is dated not unlike most properties in Wildwood. Very clean. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Always got prompt service from them. Julia, our housekeeper was wonderful!! Will stay again!

Rooms could use updates, but nothing major. You don't come here to be in a room all day. We had a room with two beds (one each for Mom and Dad) and a pull out couch for two kids (10 and 7). Room had plenty of space for the week. Service was outstanding and pools were great. One block from the boardwalk and public beach entrance. Would stay again, no question.

When arriving to the room it smelled of strong chemical. This lasted the entire stay……Left window open for entire day to air out the room. Very outdated!!!! Had What appeared to be black mold on bedroom ceiling. Thank goodness we were extremely tired each night from the boardwalk because there is a bar right below are bedroom! The pool was so gross! Bandaids and garbage all around the pool. A pool hose floated in the pool for an entire day unattached and then was laid on the pool chairs. It’s a shame because it is a great location.

Great location! I gave it 5 stars not because the rooms are incredible - they're just ok. But, I was comfortable and I felt safe. You have to accept properties like this for what they are, not what you hope they will be. The Sands is a family-friendly, economically-priced hotel in a very handy location for access to either the boardwalk or the oceanfront. The staff is VERY dedicated to service. That's probably the thing that stood out the most to me. And, as others have mentioned, parking is tight. Especially if you have a large truck or SUV. I would definitely recommend for families but not necessarily a romantic getaway. Or, if you like a quiet venue, you might look at other options.

Overall the rooms were great except for one issue. The bathroom light fixture clearly needed to be replaced (need to warm up for 20 min before it would actually turn on). They were unsurprised it was an issue, but hadn't done anything about it and did not seem in a hurry to get it replaced. Otherwise, the location is excellent (right on the water by the Wildwoods sign), and the rooms were very clean and well furnished. Like many hotels in the area it is the old style kitchenette rooms with exterior hallways which is nice when you are travelling with kids and want to be able to prep some meals at home. There are also 2 pools, and a BBQ patio area.

I had a wonderful stay and want to share my experience. The rooms were immaculately clean, from the living room to the kitchen. The kitchen amenities, including pots, plates, and utensils, were all spotless and well-maintained. The bathroom was also pristine, which I really appreciated. What impressed me most was how well the hotel was maintained — it truly felt like the staff was running a smooth, efficient operation. The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming; I honestly believe they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I also noticed how clean the grill was — it was cleaned daily, and it looked brand new despite being a two-year-old grill! The hotel is very family-friendly, making it a perfect choice for families like mine. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
