I don't understand the heavy stucco for an interior room painted gloss aesthetic. The room was dated and not the greatest use of space. Closet was the same size as the bathroom! In a narrow alcove in the wall was a mini fridge & a microwave, all of which were plugged into a loose outlet (codes violation?) Furniture mismatched & heavily worn, and the bathroom was vintage, but with a 3-handle shower that has no scald protection for kids - Again how does that pass operation codes? I get that it is a motel, but open the closet (same size as bathroom) and have one side be an actual mini bar (fridge, microwave & coffee maker) - then have the other side be the closest. Also AC filter was not cleaned & had the reminder light on. Something that should be cleaned & reset before each stay in my opinion. The saving grace was it was far enough away from the boardwalk that you did not have the noise coming through all night, but a nice walk to the boardwalk & beach. Walking to a selection of restaurants was nice too.

Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever experienced. Dead and alive bugs. Cobb webs under bed. Stains on sheets and pillow cases a remote with 1 battery in it tv didn’t work had to park on the pavement bc there was no spots. Paid way too much for a room that was horrible recommend you go somewhere else

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very pleasant, and the gentleman moe was very helpful and very respectful and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we had a memorable stay. I would recommend!!!

Booked a room day of for a quick overnight stay. For a hotel in wildwood, it’s what an expected. Our room was clean, bedding looked brand new, and the staff at the front desk was very nice. The bathroom needs updating, but it did the job we needed it to do. Great price for what we got and great price for location.

We visited from Canada and stayed a week. We booked based on the location, pictures of the hotel and a friend suggested it as they had a great stay in a "beautiful room" The pictures on the website were not accurate at all, completely different then what we had. The staff say the pictures are accurate but THEY ARE NOT!!! The staff also says "free" parking but that was not the case. They have next to no parking so we had to pay for parking each night. Sometimes we had to park 2 blocks away from the hotel. The hotel was dirty and small. The room we stayed in was disgusting and not worth what we paid. After the 3rd day our tub would not drain. We contacted the front desk and they didnt have much of a care, they said it happens all the time because of the ocean sand. On the 4th day we had to drive to a friend's place a hour away to have showers for the rest of our trip. We only were at the hotel to sleep because it was so bad. Even the sleep wasn't the best as it was loud all night long, the walls are paper thin. Staff wasn't the best. The hotel and staff certainly made a memorable trip but not in a good way. Next time we go to wildwood we will be staying somewhere else.

The bed was comfortable, slept in every morning was used to getting up early!!The room was clean ,had enough linens all in a bag. Told the owner I would be calling to make reservations next year !!!!!!!

I absolutely loved it here! The manager Sunny was awesome the whole time! He always responded and was absolutely pleasant! I'm definitely going back next year! The room was clean, nice pool with a baby pool! Music at the pool! They even have a kitchenette! What more could you ask for! Literally minutes from the boardwalk at Moreys pier! Uuggh I didn't want to leave! Thank you for everything! Very accommodating!

Nice place to stay. A very nice welcome when checking in person. Great deals on room prices.. Rooms are very clean. Close to boardwalk. I saw every day staff cleaning the pool and tables. Every morning free coffee . For next year new chairs for the pool, they not look to nice this year, but overall I recommended for the accommodations and price . You can not ask for more. See you in 2026.

The owners/employees were very nice. Extremely short staffed so I assume that’s why our stay wasn’t what we hoped. We arrived and our room had a strong scent, it was not properly cleaned, no fitted bed sheet on a cotton pillow top mattress. Within minutes our feet were black from walking barefoot, there was a large amount of sand in room and balcony with no broom or vacuum available to sweep anything up. I was completely grossed out by the cleanliness but besides that; decent place.

I needed a place to stay in N Wildwood for 2 nights on short notice and found Sandy Shores fit the bill eg I could barely afford most other summer motel costs. I found this one was reasonable. It is in a very good location because it’s only a few blocks walk to the boardwalk and beaches. The exterior is clean and well kept. Has free parking with your stay for one vehicle. I traveled with my 12 year old granddaughter because she had a daily camp to attend nearby. The room had 2 queen beds with what looked to be new mattresses and frames with nice sheets and pillows- very comfortable. That’s the extent of my like for the room; it was otherwise in need of update for the decor and bathroom, where the faucet never stopped leaking and the tub was old and rust stained. Not a huge problem because it was very clean, however, it also would not be my choice for future stays. The staff were very attentive, pleasant, and available. Easy check in and out.
