We visited from Canada and stayed a week. We booked based on the location, pictures of the hotel and a friend suggested it as they had a great stay in a "beautiful room" The pictures on the website were not accurate at all, completely different then what we had. The staff say the pictures are accurate but THEY ARE NOT!!! The staff also says "free" parking but that was not the case. They have next to no parking so we had to pay for parking each night. Sometimes we had to park 2 blocks away from the hotel. The hotel was dirty and small. The room we stayed in was disgusting and not worth what we paid. After the 3rd day our tub would not drain. We contacted the front desk and they didnt have much of a care, they said it happens all the time because of the ocean sand. On the 4th day we had to drive to a friend's place a hour away to have showers for the rest of our trip. We only were at the hotel to sleep because it was so bad. Even the sleep wasn't the best as it was loud all night long, the walls are paper thin. Staff wasn't the best. The hotel and staff certainly made a memorable trip but not in a good way. Next time we go to wildwood we will be staying somewhere else.

The bed was comfortable, slept in every morning was used to getting up early!!The room was clean ,had enough linens all in a bag. Told the owner I would be calling to make reservations next year !!!!!!!

I absolutely loved it here! The manager Sunny was awesome the whole time! He always responded and was absolutely pleasant! I'm definitely going back next year! The room was clean, nice pool with a baby pool! Music at the pool! They even have a kitchenette! What more could you ask for! Literally minutes from the boardwalk at Moreys pier! Uuggh I didn't want to leave! Thank you for everything! Very accommodating!

Nice place to stay. A very nice welcome when checking in person. Great deals on room prices.. Rooms are very clean. Close to boardwalk. I saw every day staff cleaning the pool and tables. Every morning free coffee . For next year new chairs for the pool, they not look to nice this year, but overall I recommended for the accommodations and price . You can not ask for more. See you in 2026.

The owners/employees were very nice. Extremely short staffed so I assume that’s why our stay wasn’t what we hoped. We arrived and our room had a strong scent, it was not properly cleaned, no fitted bed sheet on a cotton pillow top mattress. Within minutes our feet were black from walking barefoot, there was a large amount of sand in room and balcony with no broom or vacuum available to sweep anything up. I was completely grossed out by the cleanliness but besides that; decent place.

I needed a place to stay in N Wildwood for 2 nights on short notice and found Sandy Shores fit the bill eg I could barely afford most other summer motel costs. I found this one was reasonable. It is in a very good location because it’s only a few blocks walk to the boardwalk and beaches. The exterior is clean and well kept. Has free parking with your stay for one vehicle. I traveled with my 12 year old granddaughter because she had a daily camp to attend nearby. The room had 2 queen beds with what looked to be new mattresses and frames with nice sheets and pillows- very comfortable. That’s the extent of my like for the room; it was otherwise in need of update for the decor and bathroom, where the faucet never stopped leaking and the tub was old and rust stained. Not a huge problem because it was very clean, however, it also would not be my choice for future stays. The staff were very attentive, pleasant, and available. Easy check in and out.

Do not stay at this hotel! The hotel was outdated and did not look anything like the pictures on line. The smell was terrible. The white bath towels were so old they looked beige. You were not guaranteed a parking spot at the hotel. We had to look for a spot on the streets late at night and pay for parking. The customer was terrible, no one was in the office when we wanted to check in and check out.

My family and I have been coming to Sandy shores at least twice a year for the past 9/10 years. The staff is amazing, they do everything they can to make you feel like you are at home It's a great atmosphere for families. Rooms are always cleaned well and upgrades are made yearly. Not only are the prices great, the service is even better. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they are wonderful people along with the longtime manager who is so courteous, happy, and willing to go out of his way to assist you.

I really enjoyed having to take a ROACH out of my room at 1 in the morning, on top of constantly having wet socks from the floors being damp due to the humidity levels. Shower didn’t drain well, ac smelt terrible, and tv didn’t work. Reached out to them after our stay and never heard back. absolutely crazy.

UPDATED REVIEW. This is our second year in a row choosing Sandy Shores and we will definitely be back next summer. We really like how close it is to the boardwalk, the family atmosphere, the pool and the employees. Priced very reasonably. Thanks for helping to making our vacation memorable. We really liked the pool and the location. The check in was fast and easy. The employee at the front desk was nice. Our room was clean. Hope to stay here again next year.
