The Lollipop Motel consistently receives positive reviews, particularly highlighting exceptional service from manager Angie and the motel’s cheerful atmosphere. While some guests note dated rooms and parking challenges, the overwhelmingly positive feedback focuses on cleanliness, location, and friendly staff. Newer reviews praise recent upgrades and the convenience of the pool and boardwalk proximity.
One of the cleanest places you’ll ever stay in wildwood and staff is very friendly! Love it here and we come every year
I have stayed here multiple times, Angie provides amazing service and clean rooms! Can’t wait to come back!
Love this place very clean, very friendly nice relaxing, clam. been coming here for the past 4 years and I love it recommend it ? percent ? the owner is very sweet very nice. Perfect for a family stay.
The Lollipop Motel was pretty disappointing. It's very cute-looking from the outside, but the rooms clearly have never been updated, or at least in a lot of years, except for the bed, which had a very comfortable mattress. We had a 1-bedroom "suite" with tiny bathroom, really thin towels and no hand towels. I was going to sleep on the sofa bed one night (I snore), but upon pulling it out, we discovered a number of dead bugs - not sure what kind. And I would rate the overall cleanliness of the room as a "5" - just sort of musty with layers of dirt, including the floor. There's a tiny kitchen, but no way to make coffee. Parking is difficult and, well, just plain weird because they have some single space and then a bunch of double spaces where you may have to double-park behind someone else - I'm still not sure how that would work. Even though one of the "rules cards" (and then are MANY such rules posted all over in the room) says there's enough parking for one car per unit, we could not park at the motel after coming back one evening. I had to circle around the neighborhood to find an off-site spot, which was a giant pain. The location is nice and close (3 or so blocks) from the Boardwalk, and Angie, the on-site manager, was pleasant to deal with.
Our family looks forward to staying at the Lollipop Motel every year. The management pays attention to every little detail to make sure that our stay is comfortable, happy, and convenient. Rooms are bright and colorful, and really give you a happy vacation feel. Housekeeping keeps everything tidy daily. Can't say enough about this wonderful motel! Thank you so much and see you next year!
We had a wonderful stay at the Lollipop Motel over Memorial Day weekend! From the moment we arrived, Angela, the manager, greeted us with a beaming smile and genuine warmth. She was incredibly helpful and made sure our family had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. One thoughtful gesture that stood out was how she saved our parking spot with a cone while we were out for dinner—such a small act that made a big difference, especially with limited parking available. The motel itself had a fun and cheerful vibe, with doors painted in bright, harmonious colors that added to the vacation feel. Our daughters absolutely loved the heated pool, which made swimming enjoyable even in the cooler 60°F weather. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, making it easy for us to explore without having to drive. Overall, our experience was fantastic. We felt welcomed, well taken care of, and truly relaxed. We highly recommend Lollipop Motel for families looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay in Wildwood!
I remember staying here with parents back in the summer of 1994, first time I swam in deep water was at their pool, from pictures still looks the same 30 years later.
Nice clean place. Good location. My ONLY beef is, the staff was super cool at first, then on the day of checkout, they turned ghetto. My daughter and granddaughter wanted to swim/take a dip in the pool before we headed home and that's where everything went south. The "manager'(with her kids living there for nothing basically) came out and started screaming at me that the pool was closed. It was 10:16 by the way and the pool "opens" at 10am.?So I tried to reason with her, them her 14 year old daughter came out screaming at me all ghetto like asking me if is had a problem, Huh, what? I just walked away. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. The stove didn't even work. We tried to make eggs for breakfast and the stove had a broken burner and the one that did work was going on and off. We paid $450 for one night. Come on man. DONT STAY HERE.I never give bad reviews, but this one earned it.?
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the Barefoot Country music festival and Angie is the best. Best Staff, comfy and cozy, great location and clean rooms. Will be coming back next year. Angie and the staff make an ordinary stay exceptional. Her amazing customer service keeps us coming back.
This was our 1st year staying here for a week. We would definitely recommend coming Monday-Friday as it was very peaceful. Angie is the best and goes out of her way to help you. We will be back again next year as we enjoyed our stay.
