recently stayed two nights at this hotel in Wildwood, NJ, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I booked months in advance and specifically requested a quiet room, away from traffic, and preferably on a top floor. Instead, I was placed on the second floor facing the road, directly across from the elevator and near the front desk. There was constant noise—guests above me were stomping and thumping, and the adjoining suite next door was occupied by multiple children who were yelling and loud throughout the stay. On the first night, I asked to be moved due to the noise. I was told they would check into it, but no one ever followed up or made any effort to relocate me. I was also misled about my reservation. I was originally told I could book one night and confirm later, but the week of my stay I was told I had to pay for two nights or lose the room entirely. The room itself lacked basic amenities—no hangers, no iron, no microwave, very small garbage cans, and no housekeeping support for trash removal. The bathroom sink layout was poorly designed and difficult to use. The hotel also does not offer continental breakfast, and overall the property appears to be in poor condition. The advertised amenities were unacceptable. The tiki bar was in disrepair with visible rust and neglect. The pool and hot tub were green and clearly not safe. Staff claimed the pool had been “shocked,” yet were still telling guests they could use it without allowing proper time for chemicals to work, which is a serious safety concern. Staff were rude over the phone, though somewhat more polite in person. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations and was nothing like what was advertised or requested.

This review is exclusively for the inside bar and the tiki bar. I don’t know what’s going on with the bar this year but they’re clearly has been a change in management. How could a bar have no orange juice? No sour mix? No ginger ale? Some on tap sodas are available but not others. Serving beer out of a can only and not on tap? What’s going on with this place this year? This was the best place to hang out. No more.

The lady behind the counter was very kind and helpful. The bathroom was incredibly small but looked newly renovated. The room/bathroom was very clean

All the people that work here are super nice and helpful. Wish I could leave a great review but the rooms are terrible. Only 1 end table even though there's plenty of room for 2. Only a Ceiling light, no table or floor lamps. Shower took forever to drain. Refrigerator but no microwave. Carpets are super worn and look filthy. Honestly it's like a jail cell. Bathroom was newly renovated and view is great. We definitely won't stay here again. We'll be back for pool & tiki bar and that's it. Very disappointing.

More of a 3.5. The room is good for what it is a bed and a bathroom with a view of the pool. Sheets were a little dirty and stained but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and shower worked well. The best part of this hotel is the location, right across the street from the boardwalk and beach, it's about a 1 minute walk from the front steps to the boardwalk. Would recommend for their cheap rates and great location ??

me and my boyfriend stayed there friday - sunday. we never been to this hotel before but unfortunately we didn’t like it. the location is 10/10. it was perfect. we hardly drove. we were able to talk to the boardwalk we loved the location. but the hotel? i’m sorry but it’s dirty. there’s a bunch of stains on the carpet , the wall , the sheets & blankets. there was literally mold on the sheets. the bathroom layout is kinda weird for the toilet. the towels had other peoples hairs on them.. it was so gross. we weren’t in the room much but it just felt dirty.

We recently stayed at the Oceanic in an ocean view room with a balcony. The balcony was facing the convention center, and had a great view of the boardwalk and beach. Location wise it was great, loud but still good location. The room itself was disgusting. When we arrived the bedding was dirty. We ended up not using their pillows, and we did not sleep in the bedding at all. The floor had what looked to be vomit stains on it, the floorboards were covered and filthy. There was dried boogers with hair in it along the doors. The chain lock did not work at all, it was painted over so many times we couldn’t fit the lock in to even lock it. There was black mold spots above the shower in the bathroom. The staff was great, but the overall filth and lack of cleanliness really ruined the whole experience.

My stay here was outstanding due to the excellent service provided by the staff including Mr. Mike, Miss Jennifer, Miss Beth, Jocelyn, and Mr Frank. The room was clean, and the amenities, such as the bar, pool and Jacuzzi, were well-maintained. The staff allowed me to park my car for a couple of hours after my check-out happily. The tiki-bar was a great hit and I really had a good time there. Its proximity to the Wildwood convention center and the beach makes it an ideal choice. I will surely visit it again when I visit Wildwood.

Stayed here with my boyfriend and I have many complaints. First of all the room looked nothing like the picture it was a complete catfish and the room was very dingy. I will admit I paid a very low price for the room but at least put the right pictures up so I know what I’m getting. Secondly the room was not cleaned with love It was not vacuumed , smelled like mold and mildew with a whole can of Fabreeze on top. But I still wasn’t going to complain. We stayed one night and all though I was weary we ended up booking a second night. The first night was fine but after the second night I woke up covered in bites all over my torso. I am covered in at least 20-30 bites but I only posted a small picture as I don’t want to leave a picture of my whole naked torso on google reviews. Long story short don’t stay here worth taking your money somewhere else even if it’s double in price. Not worth risking bed bugs. Disgusting ..

You can't find a better deal than this hotel. It's right across from the boardwalk, has included parking, and a pool and pool bar. The AC is strong and it has a decent fridge/freezer. It's perfect for my family as the kids like the beach but always love to finish in the pool area.
