We had a much better experience at this hotel compared to a few years ago. The biggest difference was the staff's ability to speak English, which made everything so much easier for my family and me. and the fact that they spoke English made a huge difference for us, especially after struggling !with communication during our visit a few years ago The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the renovated swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids. Overall, we'd definitely consider staying here again.

Just returned from a 4 night stay. Everyone who works there is pleasant and very helpful. Room, grounds, and pool are super clean. Location is perfect, 1 block from the beach. Would certainly stay here again. Thank you!

We stay there every year and it never disappoints, would recommend to anyone I know! Service is great and I will say sometimes with having boys in the room it gets messy they’re great and cleaning. Very short walk to the beach and not a far bike ride to the board wall, the rooms are perfect.

If you like a clean room,outside,! and everywhere, this is the place to go they lscrub out the inside of the gas grills every day and hose them down I have never seen or stayed at a place that is interested in keeping everything so clean and the staff are very nice.

Let me just begin by say this me and my family have been coming to wildwood for a long time. I've never found a property that comes close to the compass the owners Mrs. Irene and her sons Paul and George really care about guests and the upkeep of their property customer service and housekeeping are top notch here they don't cut corners they also have 2 very nice gas grills which are cleaned daily from ownership to the front desk staff especially caroline she is a total sweetheart so easy to deal with everyone in the office will get you whatever you need, the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job i know this because upon checking in I always give the room and inspection when I moved out the sofa bed there was nothing behind it I mean not a dust ball nothing they do such a great job. The compass will be our new favorite place to stay. I encourage anyone looking for a quiet clean and affordable place to stay give the compass a try i promise you won't be disappointed. We are already counting down the days until next July until next time thank you so much to everyone at the compass!

I've been going to the compass for the past 5 years for our family vacation at the Jersey shore. My family and I think that it is the best place we've ever stayed in Wildwood. It's not just a clean rooms that we love or the pool . It is the staff as well ,and even the other visitors. We actually just finished our vacation ,and we just can't wait to go back.

We found the prices to be very fair for the area to stay here. Very well maintained property, and comfortable rooms. My kids loved the new pool.

The rooms were very clean and furnished beautifully. The pool is clean and freshly refinished. The outdoor seating areas were clean as well. It was perfect for our convention. The owners and staff are amazing. Very kind and helpful. Can't wait to go there again!

Very clean rooms, less than a one block walk to the ocean. Very family friendly. It is nice to have a hotel where they enforce the rules to keep a family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend

Took my family (4 and 2 year old) week after labor day. Fantastic prices. Family owned and operated- real people who are very helpful and accommodating. Very friendly staff, quiet and clean. Not fancy and could use some minor updates, but very comfortable and suited my family perfectly. I wasn't terrified my 2 year old would break something or get hurt. Happily surprised about sponge/soap in mini kitchen and bathtub mat. Kids loved the heated pool and a mini putt putt with a couple arcade games on the lower level. Not beachfront, but beach entrance is less than half a block away and we can see the beach and ocean from 2nd floor deck. The kid area in the pool was fenced off from the deeper area was another safety bonus- pool was clean! 10/10 will come here again next year. Thank You for all the local suggestions.
