Hotel was clean and got clean linens daily. Very old school pulp fiction vibes. Loved beijg a stones throw from the boardwalk. My only concern was the way the doors unlocked lol.
We just stayed in one of the 2 bedrooms next to the pool and it was great. There were 6 of us and it did not feel cramped. The staff was extremely helpful and you are very close to the boardwalk. The parking is a little tight but very manageable. It would be great if the pool could be open a little later? I would for sure stay here again. The room was spacious and clean with great staff!
if you have a problem. don't expect any cooperation or understanding. my family has stayed at this hotel multiple times. one year I broke my foot 4 days before our beach trip. not only did they offer Nothing not even a partial refund. I noticed after calling multiple times over the course of 3 days. different people would answer and they would lie and say the manager is not there. talk to a different person and they say the manager just left and was their when I called earlier. once they have your money, your own your own. my family lost 1800$ on 2 rooms. very disappointed in this hotel to see we mean nothing to them
So many other and much better choices for the money and location. While it was clean, it was seriously one of the worst rooms ever. Ground floor. No windows. Under stairs and next to pool so noisy and no privacy. No desk service after 10pm though the manager was efficient and responsive.
I payed for what I thought was a king bed in a basic motel room for me and my boyfriend. When we got there I was told they “upgraded” our room to what I guess they call a “mini suite” or something along those lines. I was immediately annoyed because this room was not what I wanted or would have payed the amount of money I payed for it. It was 2 full size (maybe queen, but they were really small and I fell off twice at night so I think they were full or standard) beds in a tiny separate room from the area with the couch (the couch was filthy underneath and the most uncomfortable pleather couch I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying to sit on). There was no curtain on the window in the room with the beds, and literally right outside that window was someone else’s balcony! I couldn’t believe that, we closed the blinds as much as possible and had to prop up pillows and blankets because I didn’t feel at all comfortable with it open like that. Someone could have walked right up and looked in no matter what else we did because there wasn’t a curtain and nothing but slat blinds. There wasn’t a single drawer or shelf to put clothes aside from a tiny rack with maybe 8 hangers on it, we had to use the second bed that we obviously were not using for all our stuff. The refrigerator was missing 2 shelves and didn’t work, it froze everything no matter the setting we used and it didn’t open correctly because it was missing a foot or something so it rocked. And when I moved it out to try and fix it, there were ants all over the place and it was disgusting behind and under it. The coffee maker had dirt and hair inside it, which wouldn’t have mattered anyway because there was a coffee machine but no coffee or filters anywhere so it was pretty much just for decoration I guess. The door frame to the room with the beds was even not installed straight so the door would barely close. We went to get ice because we couldn’t use the fridge and the ice bin from our room was sticky and visibly dirty so that just disgusted me and we gave up on the ice because I didn’t want to see what the ice machine looked like. The towels had what looked like blood stains on them and the one time anyone came to give us more towels or do anything it was the second day we were there, they knocked on the door at 9:30 am, we had just woke up and so obviously told them we didn’t want anything just then because we weren’t even awake or dressed yet and that was the only time anyone came so we had to reuse our towels and empty our own trash. We stayed here last year and it wasn’t nearly this bad, so needless to say we will not be returning. I didn’t have high expectations, it’s a motel by the boardwalk it’s not going to be fantastic. But I at least expected not to have to deal with ants, mold, and the stupidest motel room design I have ever seen. Not to mention they have all these strict noise regulations, yet the people next to us kept us up half the night the first 2 nights because they were playing music, banging things, and partying till 4am. All I wanted was a king bed in a somewhat clean hotel so my partner and I could have a nice vacation. Instead we had to squeeze into a tiny bed for 3 nights and put towels and blankets in front of the window so we could even change. I could have paid a lot less for a lot more at any of the other numerous motels on the boardwalk, which is what I will do next year.
Easy to book, even easier to check in. Owner is super nice and our room was very clean and smelled good when we arrived. We had our own balcony with a great view and were a less than 10 min walk from the boards! Super quiet at night (off season). Will be returning.
So after booking a room the host followed me & my husband to our room and told us to come get a refund and go stay somewhere else. This is discrimination and violation of privacy, these hosts are very arrogant and disrespectful for no reason I believe us being a black couple made him uncomfortable because this was so uncalled for
Stayed there few weeks ago place was nice for what it was room was clean bathroom was clean room was nice down fall no safe but outher then that good place desk guy and all people working there were super nice friendly they have a heated pool I recommend
I loved this place. They upgraded our room last minute not sure why but there is no complaints. We had 2 bedrooms which we only expected one. A full kitchen. The bathroom was stocked clean and decent. We also had a private patio. Would definitely recommend and plan on coming back here for any trip I take back to wildwood. It's right on the corner next to the boardwalk/beach. Very convenient.
Not pleased with this hotel at all. If you're looking for a quiet place where staff look out for families with children, this is not the place to stay. Here are 10 things to expect: #1 - Be ready to walk around drunk, smoking guests sitting on steps when you walk out first thing in the morning. #2 - The parking lot full of loud guests all day who are intoxicated. #3 - Signs all around the property say "No music. Headphones only." But hotel staff won't enforce it. #4 - Blaring music from hotel rooms and portable speakers set up by guests in the parking lot. #5 - Be ready to hear the music from your hotel room so there won't be any peace and quiet. #6 - Drunks staying at the hotel will be yelling at you when you walk out of your room. #7 - Be ready for intoxicated men to approach your young children. (We had a drunk guest try and give our 5 year old daughter something. I was not a happy dad) #8 - Hotel staff will say they can't hear the music from the office which apparently makes it okay. #9 - Hotel staff will tell you all the above is okay because "They're on vacation." (So are we but that didn't make a difference.) #10 - The hotel will offer to move you to another hotel and split up your family into separate rooms but they can't promise they're won't be loud music and drunks staying there as well. We were so disappointed in the hotel. They had no regard for our family. They allow it to be full of drunk people who disregard the rules. They will tell you they should quiet down by 10pm but they're is no guarantee. We left due to the hotel not enforcing their own posted polices. They wouldn't even follow their own rules and then refused to refund us for the night we didn't stay. This hotel is not family friendly at all. If you're looking for a place to stay with children, this isn't it.
