Great place came here from Kentucky check it was painless and easy. Sunny is a really cool person he is really funny. Super friendly too. We were here for firemen’s weekend and got to enjoy the company of a few firefighters/first responders. Definitely will stay again this is perfect!!

I absolutely loved it here! The manager Sunny was awesome the whole time! He always responded and was absolutely pleasant! I'm definitely going back next year! The room was clean, nice pool with a baby pool! Music at the pool! They even have a kitchenette! What more could you ask for! Literally minutes from the boardwalk at Moreys pier! Uuggh I didn't want to leave! Thank you for everything! Very accommodating! I stayed here the first 2 days then their second hotel in my 3rd day! Sunny was just absolutely pleasant and so very patient with me! I truly needed this getaway and I will be staying with them for now on! Definitely going back!

I would not recommend this hotel! I have never in my life seen an owner who does not want to take your money! I've tried to make a reservation since Mother's Day of 2025. Constantly calling them with no answer. They send you a text asking what you need and they still dont respond.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. This place is absolutely disgusting. We are not familiar with wildwood and this is was awful coming into. There was a literal hole in our wall, a mold all around the room.

Just stayed here. Rooms are dated like all the old school wildwood motels. They're currently remodeling. But it's clean, everything worked, and the service was terrific even later on at night. Affordable, pools were clean as well. My 10yo daughter and I were very happy with our stay.

So my family and I just stayed at the birds of paradise the sister/ brother hotel to sandy shore hotel. I have to say I have stayed at both and it was a great experience for my family and I. I would recommend staying at these hotels. The 2 hotels are covenant to get to the beach and a bunch of other things. At the birds of paradise we had a great view of the fireworks that went off on Friday night. One bad thing we experienced was on the counter we had ants everywhere and the tv remote did not work until we put our own batteries in. My wife and I love staying at the hotels sandy shore and now birds of paradise we will definitely be back next year. We helped the house keeper too we made sure we took all of our trash out and cleaned up the best we could to be respectful.

Not the cleanest room ever, but not the worst either. What was annoying was the fact of only having 2 electrical outlets in the entire room. Service was cool, only thing is there is no one on site, you have to go up to the sister motel on the next corner up. Location is amazing though!! Extremely close to the best area of the boardwalk. About 1 block away from gateway 26 and sams pizza.. overall I would stay here again, especially comparing the price difference with all the other motels in this specific area.

Waited too long to book weekend for softball tournament and ended up here. Had a lot of apprehension based on reviews, but needed a room. Pros - close to boardwalk, acceptable service, no bugs and reasonably clean. Wife locked us out while watching fireworks and we were back in a reasonable amount of time after texting owner. Not so goods - needs a complete rip and replace - everything is dated and worn out. Bottom line - if you’re in a pinch, it’s acceptable. Would not recommend if other options were available.

Super close to the boardwalk within walking distance!! Room was a bit outdated and water pressure was eh but it was clean! Bathrooms also clean. Customer service and the house keeper were GREAT!!! Pool was crystal clear, clean and relaxing. ?? I really don’t have complaints

When we first looked up hotels the reviews weren’t great. But because of the location we had to give it a go. The hotel and staff have been wonderful. Check in was super easy. Plenty of parking. Clean which is very important. Ac worked good and beds were comfy and clean! The location was perfect!! Had a few questions and they responded right away. Will definitely stay again next time! Thank you!
