The Bolero Resort & Conference Center offers a convenient location near Wildwood’s boardwalk and amenities like a rooftop pool and gym. However, recent reviews highlight concerns about noise levels, dated facilities, and inconsistent service. While some guests praise the friendly staff and overall atmosphere, others have experienced issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of promised amenities.
Overall it was great. Inside and outside pool, jacuzzi, steam room, clean and tidy throughout and would steam. We would stay here again for sure. Cons: wasn't given a run down of where things were like the inside pool and how to get to it. Would be nice to just get a briefing or even ask if we had any questions etc. for 1st timers that are new to your place..
My girlfriend and I just stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean but the shower wasn’t that great, the water pressure wasn’t good it felt like I wasn’t taking a shower just getting rinsed off. The shower soap wasn’t good at all and we didn’t wash our hair. The walls were so thin we could hear everything that was going on from people on the phone kids yelling outside and everyone driving an all the police sirens. We also stayed in the luxury kings suite and the gym was right over our heads and we could hear people dropping weights all day and all night. We woke up everyday with the sound of weights dropping right over our heads. If you wanted a nice and quiet getaway this is definitely NOT the hotel for you SUPER LOAD AND NOISY.
I was hired to play with a band performing at the Bolero. I have played this club many times and always had great experiences and fun performing at this club. The venue is a very big one. Very friendly staff, food is great and there is a hotel on the property. I stayed at the hotel one time and it was great. This resort hops in the summertime. If you have never stayed been to the Bolero i suggest you do.
We stayed in a luxury suite Friday and Saturday night in March. The room was updated and clean. The in room jacuzzi tub was fantastic! The bathroom was well appointed and had everything we needed. We did bring our own coffee pot. ALL of the staff we encountered from the front desk to the restaurant, the housekeeping personnel and fitness crew were polite, professional and helpful. Our sixth floor suite had an ocean view and the sunrise was superb. 3 minute walk to the boardwalk and some of the shops were open. Nice!! Our only concern is the walls are VERY thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallway and the room next to yours. Our neighbors were having a party and their music was VERY loud. Finally st midnight we had the front desk come up and ask them to turn it down which they did, reluctantly. We can't imagine how much louder it is in season. Over all the place is great, just loud.
Tried to go to the restaurant never got waited on after 10 minutes we left. Try to go back the next day to order a drink at the bar. The guy at the bar was not paying attention to anybody else we had to flag him down and then he was very rude to us. Ended up walking out very strict in the pool no Playing around only person that's nice at that place is Tom. Front desk did not care about our experience at the hotel bar restaurant
Overall experience was ok. The room was comfortable, but you hear everything from adjacent rooms. The walls are paper thin. Hear toilet flushing, talking, even people walking in the hallways. One zonk, is that there was hair in my room which was nasty…. Aside from that it was ok… I’d go back, but it’s not 4 stars…
You want to be totally freaked out. Go to Wildwood NJ in the middle of the winter. Only the locals are there. The Bolero is only 1 of 2 motels that are open. Still the room was clean and very nice. 2 TV's, microwave, fridge and stove .
This motel is dated, needs painting. Clean rooms. It had two comfortable beds, a desk, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, couch, tv, closet area. The beds were made with a bottom sheet, a blanket, and a top sheet. However, both beds were made with the blanket under the top sheet. The one nightstand between the beds had a light on it that didn't work. We reported it and it was replaced. The bathroom is small. It would be nice to have a larger bathroom and do away with the couch. The indoor gym area is extensive. The indoor pool temperature wasn't that warm. The one, of two, working hot tubs finish on the seats had worn off. Area needs a painting refresh.
We would to thank everyone at Bolero for an amazing weekend. Staff was so nice ,rooms pristine and the food was beyond that we expected. The bands were pretty great too. And we will definitely be back again. Thanks to Eric for all the great stories... Y'all are a very classy act....
Stayed with husband and my 2 8yr olds… I thought it was Great for families with nice indoor pool ((for those rainy days and u need a plan B- which we needed)) and outdoor pool. Close to boardwalk/Moreys piers/ waterpark (when in-season), walking distance to anything and everything .. Staff was wonderful… from Michael at the front desk to the Lovely, friendly attendant Lady at the gym/pool area in the 7th floor to the maintenance guy who helped us out with an insignificant mishap. Rooms in motel side where great ((which is where I stayed)), updated, clean and comfortable beds. Def will recommend n will try Tower rooms next time just for the ocean view. I feel bad reviews I read before staying there have come from complicated /needy people.. I loved the place and will def be my go to place when visiting wildwood.
