The Bolero Resort & Conference Center is a highly commended family-friendly destination known for its unique indoor amenities and entertainment, though recent guests report significant variability in cleanliness standards and pool maintenance.
Tried to go to the restaurant never got waited on after 10 minutes we left. Try to go back the next day to order a drink at the bar. The guy at the bar was not paying attention to anybody else we had to flag him down and then he was very rude to us. Ended up walking out very strict in the pool no Playing around only person that's nice at that place is Tom. Front desk did not care about our experience at the hotel bar restaurant
Overall experience was ok. The room was comfortable, but you hear everything from adjacent rooms. The walls are paper thin. Hear toilet flushing, talking, even people walking in the hallways. One zonk, is that there was hair in my room which was nasty…. Aside from that it was ok… I’d go back, but it’s not 4 stars…
You want to be totally freaked out. Go to Wildwood NJ in the middle of the winter. Only the locals are there. The Bolero is only 1 of 2 motels that are open. Still the room was clean and very nice. 2 TV's, microwave, fridge and stove .
This motel is dated, needs painting. Clean rooms. It had two comfortable beds, a desk, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, couch, tv, closet area. The beds were made with a bottom sheet, a blanket, and a top sheet. However, both beds were made with the blanket under the top sheet. The one nightstand between the beds had a light on it that didn't work. We reported it and it was replaced. The bathroom is small. It would be nice to have a larger bathroom and do away with the couch. The indoor gym area is extensive. The indoor pool temperature wasn't that warm. The one, of two, working hot tubs finish on the seats had worn off. Area needs a painting refresh.
We would to thank everyone at Bolero for an amazing weekend. Staff was so nice ,rooms pristine and the food was beyond that we expected. The bands were pretty great too. And we will definitely be back again. Thanks to Eric for all the great stories... Y'all are a very classy act....
Stayed with husband and my 2 8yr olds… I thought it was Great for families with nice indoor pool ((for those rainy days and u need a plan B- which we needed)) and outdoor pool. Close to boardwalk/Moreys piers/ waterpark (when in-season), walking distance to anything and everything .. Staff was wonderful… from Michael at the front desk to the Lovely, friendly attendant Lady at the gym/pool area in the 7th floor to the maintenance guy who helped us out with an insignificant mishap. Rooms in motel side where great ((which is where I stayed)), updated, clean and comfortable beds. Def will recommend n will try Tower rooms next time just for the ocean view. I feel bad reviews I read before staying there have come from complicated /needy people.. I loved the place and will def be my go to place when visiting wildwood.
This is probably the nicest place we stayed while visiting Wildwood. It's very clean & the staff is friendly and courteous. My only issue is that I have a disability and found the beds in the ADA room as well as the shower bench to be very low. I had a very difficult time getting up to a standing position and the hallway to access the room was really narrow making it difficult to maneuver my mobility scooter in and out. Overall, I would highly recommend the Bolero in Wildwood, NJ.
Loved staying here! The guys at the front desk were super nice and friendly. House keeping was good. Location to boardwalk and the air show were wonderful. Wasn’t a long walk to the board walk. Upstairs pool was a 8 out of 10. One day it was way too hot up there. Outside pool was 10/10. Tiki bar was my favorite part You can order food to the outside bar and everything we ate was amazing especially the crab cocktail I ordered so many of them. Best bartender in wildwood was Jimmy!!!!!! We only wanted him the entire time. Helped us navigate thru wildwood and gave us great recomendations . We will make this a yearly vacation. The hotel had everything you needed! The inside restaurant should have hosts at the front bc I walked out once bc no one greeted me and went across the street to the Irish bar instead. :) see yall in a year!!
Our stay was AMAZING! The manager accommodated us comfortably and was super welcoming and attentive to every detail. Having dinner at the first floor was super convenient with little ones and be prepared because you’re in for a treat! We had live performance with Elvis and Karoke night. Great amenities and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back! Thanks Bolero!
If you are looking for a place to relax with the beach environment, this is not the hotel for you. The noise at this hotel between the outside bar and the inside restaurant/bar/club is so loud it’s overwhelming! The rooms are subpar at best. no coffee pot, no tea. A sink that really served no purpose and a refrigerator. We had the two bedroom suite. one bathroom with 4 adults and 1 child and the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. I asked for toilet paper and they gave me one roll for 5 people. I did not use the room service and asked as needed when they were in the hallway each morning. One elevator in the entire building, which was horrible, wait times for the elevator was ridiculous. From the beach, there was sand all over so you were constantly walking on sand. I used the towels to move the sand to the side so we would have a path in the room so we didn’t have to walk on the sand on the floor the entire time. We will not use this hotel moving forward. Update: I wish we knew there were outdoor showers as we definitely would have used them. Maybe let the guests know during check in? To be clear, the main bedroom was nice. It was the pull out area and the pull out bed itself that could have been better. The location is also a plus! Just wanted to add some plus!
