This is our 3rd year for an overnight sister beach trip and the 3rd year staying at Bel-Air. It reminds you of the old fashion beach motels of the 70s and 80s. Friendly staff. We didn’t hang out in the room too much ; only to sleep. Bathroom is small but it works. Glad for the fridge. Updated with usb to charge. Very close to the beach, boardwalk, bikes and food. Parking is a little tight so don’t bring your largest vehicle. Staff allowed us to keep our car there after checkout to go to the beach!

The room itself was clean, organized, and comfortable, which we really appreciated. However, we did find hair in the shower that did not belong to us, which was disappointing. Another issue was the parking. When we checked in, the staff did not explain where guests should park. The front parking lot was full, so we parked on the side, assuming it was acceptable. Unfortunately, we came back to find a parking ticket. Better communication about the parking rules at check-in would have helped us avoid this situation.

I had a great experience staying here. The hospitality was excellent, the pool was always clean, and the kids really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back

Great location one block from the tramcar and the beach! Beautiful pool, large room with a big TV which is rare! The staff is also very nice and allowed my kids to use the pool on checkout day! We will be back!

Motel is outdated & definitely needs updating. But the room was clean enough for a last minute weekend getaway. Towels were a little dirty when we were given them. And the air conditioning units worked well but it was either humid or freezing. So that was a little annoying. Location is convenient as it’s close to the beach & walkable to other areas. Closet drive to downtown WW. Staff was friendly.

We stayed only one night in this retro motel, and it was perfect for what we needed. The front desk staff was very accommodating moving our room to make sure we have an accessible room for my elderly parents. We stayed in a two room 2 queen bed area. The room was quite large with a kitchenette, table, chairs, and sleeper sofa so we had plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair and get around without stumbling over each other. The location is perfect it is a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk and there's perfect spots for morning breakfast or late night snacks all within a 1 minute walk. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we weren't able to make use of any of the other amenities the pool was being redone but the area looked nice with covered area and barbecue grills available.

The motel exceeds my expectations and it is really clean. Owners are super nice and attentive! Very clean and spotless clean. No sand what so ever in the room and we will most likely be back !!! Thank you Bel Air! ????????

We stayed at Bel Air Motel for a few nights with our kids, and overall it was okay, but not somewhere we’d rush back to. The location in Wildwood Crest is definitely a plus. It’s close to the beach and easy to get around, which made things convenient with children. That part was probably the highlight. The room itself was average. It wasn’t dirty, but it didn’t feel especially fresh either. You notice small things—older fixtures, a bit of wear, and just a general feeling that it could use some updating. It worked for sleeping and showering, but not somewhere you really want to spend extra time. The pool area was fine, but nothing stood out. It did the job for the kids, though it felt a bit crowded at times and could use a little more attention. Service was hit or miss. Some interactions were friendly, others felt a bit rushed or indifferent. Nothing terrible, just not particularly welcoming. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for something simple in a good location and aren’t too picky. But if you’re expecting a more polished or memorable family experience, this probably won’t be it.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here this past weekend. I like to stay in one of the original “doo wop” motels that make Wildwood unique every time I visit, and this one did not disappoint. Service was friendly, the room was very clean and smelled nice, and the overall vibe was great. I especially liked that the bathroom looked to be original to the motel and was in pristine condition and spotless! This motel has a lot of character which is what I want in Wildwood. Mostly families were staying here, and it was nice and quiet at night too. I will also mention that the pool was clean and refreshing. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you are like me and want a retro experience in Wildwood.

The hotel is very dated. What a shame it is that this place swindles people out of money. We paid $300 for a night at the end of August. Our room had 3 dirty pillows and a nefarious stain on the headboard. There was zero hot water. The TV worked but without sound. We had no towels in the bathroom besides rags and face towels. Neither are for use after a shower. Not that you’d want to shower any way because the water temp was tepid at best. While you think the location is great, it’s very noisy. When I brought some of these complaints to the front desk, they just seem confused and didn’t offer anything, even an apology. They just questioned every complaint and barely said anything else. I understand that weekend rates in the summer are going to be somewhat expensive, but $300 a night for a room in the condition and preparation we encountered, was beyond egregious. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! DO NOT WASTW YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS PLACE!
