We stayed there this past July (2025). The reviews were not great, so we didn't know what to expect. Check in was 4:00. Since we got in town round 3:30, we went to see if we could check in earlier. They said "no problem". The room was a little dated but clean. It didn't have any real pots, pans or utensils to cook or eat with (there were a few), we just goggled and found a Walmart 15 minutes away (over the bridge, as you come into Wildwood) The beds kept shifting on at night, then I realized that it was a mattress on top of a flat floor board, instead of a box spring. Suprisingly, it wasn't uncomfortable. It just kept shifting. The reviews about the towels being small are true. However, I usually pack my own when traveling because of sensitive skin issues. The location is Excellent to the beach and Boardwalk. The staff didn't speak too much English, however, once they understood what you wanted, everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The only confusion was all of the guys in the office went by the name "Mark". When I called 1 of them on it, he said "it's just easier for the guests". Now that we know what to expect, we'd definitely stay at the Caprice again. It's a great location and a good hotel for the price. We even realized a few days into our trip, that a Family Dollar was directly around thr corner from the hotel. It was closer than the Boardwalk. The kids had a ball! They didn't want to leave. They're still talking about the hotel, pool and beach.

Run !!! do not book with this hotel. Close to $800 for three days. Rooms were filthy. we swept the floor behind the beds, McDonald's food, the bag, the containers, dust bunnies - Disgusting !! Told the housekeeping gal that the room was on do not disturb and we did not need housekeeping. I even put a note on the door no housekeeping needed. I did put something behind the door as I close the door gently when we come back the item was way against the wall, so housekeeping did enter the room. Refrigerator and microwave has not been cleaned for a year old food greasy residue found in both. Groundskeeper man was extremely rude. Had to ask for additional tiles and took two days to get washcloths. The toilet looked like it was never cleaned. The man in the office acts like he has no clue of what's going on. Cockroaches were crawling in the bathroom. Spoke to the office person and all he said was I'm sorry and I asked for a price adjustment and he says that was out of his control.

This place is a total dump! DIRTY ROOM. Looks nice enough from the outside with blue lighting at night, and the pool is OK but the rooms are horrible. Completely outdated (and not in a cute retro kind of way) and dirty. The bathroom was the worst hotel bathroom I've ever seen. I have stayed in hostels cleaner and nicer than this motel. It was very obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned in a while, between several guests staying there. The bathtub was full of other people's hair, dust, soap scum, and sand. The sink had two large cracks that had been badly fixed. The bathtub had cracks as well and had a big chunk taken out of it. There was a glass shard of sorts on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The towels were old, stained, and very thin, with the size of the bath towel good for a child, not an adult. The room door did not even close all the way (although it did lock) and we saw light and had noise from the outside (bugs, too probably). The walls were thin and we heard the people next door all night (pretty much every word spoken). The pillows were thin and worn, the bed spread smelled funny, and some of the pillows as well. The couch was saggy and also smelled bad. I don't even have words how bad this was- I would never recommend this to anyone aside from maybe college kids who don't care about cleanliness and just want to party. This is not suitable for families! I really regret exposing my kid to this. And just to be clear- this was not a cheap stay- we paid $ 386 for 2 nights.

Good luck getting your room cleaned! We stayed 5 days and had to ask each time for our garbage to be taken out and to get clean towels. Ghettofabulous hotel but the pool & hot tub are nice and you can't beat the location.

Overall the stay here was disgusting. We walked into the motel thinking it was all good. Later on in the night we saw black mold on the ceiling and not just in our room but in another room we had booked which would assume it’s an issue in all rooms. Mold will get you sick. Lights were flickering. Just run down. We got what we paid for mostly but the small things like the bedding had sand and dirt on top. Which means they didn’t wash the covers. I wouldn’t recommend. Very unsanitary. Don’t stay here.

This motel is really cute, we really like the rooms that have two beds in separate spaces. Bathrooms are small but manageable. Pool and hot tub are nice. Location is great, one block to the boards. Bring a pillow, theirs are flat!

My family and I stayed at caprice motel this past July 2025 . Location was perfection . Close to boardwalk and the beach . 1 block from Fox park if you have kids or grandkids . Mack’s pizza half block on boardwalk best of the best half block from a family dollar to grab anything you may have forgotten. And if you like the infamous “ Duffers” ice cream place it’s 4 minutes away . Room size was good pool was 8 feet deep and clean . jacuzzi was free standing but wasn’t working . Room was not as clean as it should have been if not at all . I work for a cleaning co back home . These cleaning girls need a lesson . It was a kitchenette every utensil ,dishes and pots had to be recleaned . We needed a can opener so we bought one and left it there for other guests to use . The beds were comfortable but the pull out bed needs a new mattress springs poking through . Two grills were by the pool and we made use of it . Plenty of ice . However we did feel safe and comfortable . It was affordable . Mark the manager was very friendly . Overall if we stay here again and we proberly will , we’ll just clean it .

not bad for a Wildwood ... childhood motel... rooms are hot if you have more than one don't expect to close your door if you get the suite, there is only one AC unit . The room was clean enough for a shore but not something you would say was spotless the corners are neglected. The pool is green and slimy at the bottom. The hot tub is unusable. the place itself i would consider to be quite hood. There were people screaming and slamming doors after 11pm while others watched. Blaring music noted out on the shared patio. The place smelled wickedly of weed. I have a baby and to get to my car or into the motel it was often dodging a weed cloud. The pool was covered in what seemed to be people screaming and older men with youger woman appearing to get more than frisky in the pool. The towels are like dish towels that they give you to dry off with. The price was right and the location is right by Macks pizza. The people at the counter were nice when I checked in.

The location is great. The front desk staff was helpful. The beds were clean. The rest of the room was not. We had a kitchenette room and the sink was filthy. A bottle cap left in the sink. The faucet when you raised it up was slimy underneath it. Surface wise the room was okay clean. Clean clean though, not even remotely. Will not stay here again due to lack of cleanliness.

Not a very clean place at all! Pool and jacuzzi was filthy. Jacuzzi was broken. No hot water for shower on our second day. No refills on shampoo. I rarely leave bad reviews..but stay away from this place!
