First off we booked a room and payed extra for the ocean front view then we get there and they don’t give a us a ocean front view, we where told that the owners where in for the weekend and they got the room and we had to ask for the money back that we payed for the ocean front view, I had to park on the street because the parking lot is a joke, and the floors where so filthy my daughters feet were black after walking around the room for 5 min. I will never be staying there again.

Me and my family have been coming to this location for 20+ years same week same time before Father’s Day. This place is such A hidden gem being beachfront and pool access accessible you can’t beat it. Very clean. We really enjoy just walking right down onto the beach as we please love this spot!

10/10 One of our best trips to the beach! Staff was friendly and overwhelmingly accommodating for us! Manager on site at all times and was easily reachable responding to our every question. Room was clean and full of everything that we needed plus some!! Right on the beach beside the beach shower and access for a wheel chair. Pool slide was awesome for the kids and Pool was heated so a good break from sand when we needed it! Good place if you have 6 people as they have extra beds in some rooms! Arcade on site was neat! We utilized the grills one night which was awesome and the views from the upper decks are amazing! Would stay here again without a doubt!

Rooms have recently been renavated (so I was told) and it really shows that they were going for a modern contemporary look. Very minimalistic inside which I loved and great amenities! They Have a pool with a rasied pool deck right next to the beach for tanning and relaxing. Literally make a left out the motel and you are on the beach! It had a fully stocked kitchenette which for me is a big plus. Great size TV in the main living room with an additional one in the bedroom. All and all would definitely stay here again for an even longer time! Very pleased with the stay

Love this place so glad it's still there ? our vacation spot every August for the first twenty plus summer's of my life. Remember when Pat owned it and then Ed took over the hotel. My family is gone but I hope to get back soon ?

Location is perfect. Pool is always warm. Slide is awesome. Rooms are clean and the staff is the best. 10/10.

Can't beat the location. Very clean. Everything seemed new / recently renovated. Really big living room with nice pull out sofa and giant fridge and well stocked (just BYO shampoo).

I do not like to be a Karen but as Mom I will. The parking here is a nightmare. I book a room and I expect a spot. It was a big problem. People that dont stay at the hotel park there. Its a very tight squeeze. My room had ants in it. The room otherwise was clean and seemed updated compared to other motels here. The office lady was nice. But seems not happy to be there. The beds in the room are super small. The location is amazing if you come for the beach only. The smoking is disgusting. If I did research first I i would have rented at a smoke free place. I assumed it was. My kids have asthma. There were adults in the pool drinking and vaping. One man had glass beer bottles and a cigarette. No one cared. Yuck! Not family oriented at all. When it was time for bed the people nextdoor decided to take their party ouside their door making noise thru most of the night. I was exhausted. Thought no sense to complain as it seems hard to get a person on the phone here. Sadly I was disappointed. This is for young people or people who party and love the beach. Im interested in things for kids only and definitely smoke free. Im scared of fires.I also expect no ants in my room.

I visit Wildwood crest almost every year, I usually stay at the Villanova, but my husband decided to book at the astronaut motel this year! The room was absolutely disgusting! The service sucked and I say this because I went to the office to ask for fresh towels and this guy responded with "you gotta ask your girl" I guess he meant the girl who was scheduled to clean our room, which we opted out of since it wouldn't have made a difference! So we never got our clean towels because I didn't know who "the girl" was!!! Also the day we were leaving, we saw some rooms being cleaned and they were much better than our room and updated! So, we will never return to this place and if you happen to stay here and you get room 216, RUN!!!

10/10 would stay here again! very clean rooms, accommodating to our handicap accessible needs, staff was very friendly and welcoming. great location right on the beach with a nice pool!
