The Apollo Resort Motel offers a nostalgic experience with a prime location on the beach, appealing to families and those seeking a vintage atmosphere. While many guests praise the friendly staff, convenient amenities like a heated pool, and proximity to the shoreline, recurring issues of cleanliness, outdated facilities, and potential safety concerns with the property’s infrastructure persist. Many reviewers emphasize the property’s value for its location, but also highlight areas needing improvement.

would give 0 stars if possible. the bed smelled like straight pee thats been sitting for days, ants were COVERING the other bed where my NEWBORN baby and i were sleeping. there were yellow stains everywhere. rust in the bathrooms arouns the sink, bathtub and sink. also to mention that pee mattress… they SWAPED IT WITH ABOTHER ROOMS MATTRESS… and made the room next to us sleep on the pee mattress

This place is perfect if you enjoy holidays with all the amenities of a mini apartment. You can cook, with a kitchenette and a large fridge. There is a laundry room, parking, BBQ grills ...but the best thing is, of course, the shared kitsch charm of Wildwood, the heated swimming pool and access to the sea just a few steps away. The atmosphere is festive and friendly during the day, whether you're travelling alone, as a couple or with a large family. It's quiet and peaceful at night. Run and maintained by a large family, you'll receive a warm welcome from the polite, discreet, efficient and smiling staff. My new favourite place on the east coast.

This place is the best. We vacation there at least twice a year. The efficiency rooms are wonderful. We always get the oceanfront room with a semi-private balcony. And I absolutely love it. I get to watch the sunrise every morning over the ocean. The management is kind and considerate. Any concerns or problems that I do have the management is right there to correct everything as soon as possible. I love their swimming pool. We spend a lot of time there with the grandkids. The amount of money that they charge, in my opinion, is well worth this day. Just came back from the beach and we will be back there again in September.

The only thing good about our stay was, it was walking distance from the beach. We had no real house keeping. No toilet tissue in our bathroom. Walking into our bathroom it smelled like urine. Our floors never got mopped. No one made our bed. The water pressure in the bathroom shower was so low. I mean drip drip low,. The guy at the main desk was very rude as well. Save ur money or book somewhere else!,

You get what you pay for. Location is what this place has going for it. Rooms are ok, furniture is old. We brought our own bedding and happy that we did. Our room was first level, right by the pool, so it was noisy. Can't beat the price for the location and walk right into the beach.

When I got there we had a couple issues with who cleaned the room. I took care of that. But everyone was nice and I got more towels and a new lamp for the one in the room was not working . A very nice young man was very accommodating. And when I had to leave early in the morning due to my grandchild getting ill. Taking her to the hospital. I left my information on the emergency phone number and I did receive a call back later that day. I would recommend this place. Just have housekeeping work a little better .

The location is great. That’s the only positive I have. I also didn’t mind that things were date or older, i picked this hotel for its portrayed vintage charm. I was really offended by the price of this hotel in relation to the quality we received. For over $800 dollars for three nights we got: Linens were dirty The room smelled awfully musty with the bathroom smelling like trash. There were dead bugs and ants everywhere. The cupboards were dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable using the dishes provided. You’re given a flat sheet as a fitted sheet, another flat sheet, and a thin fleece blanket to sleep with. Wish they would have said that so i could have brought my own. The employees at the front desk were not kind. The box springs were moldy. I asked to be switched rooms. They couldn’t but offered to spray bleach on them. I told him nicely that i would like a room that was clean and he scoffed at me and walked out of the room. In my opinion the stains looked like bed bug poop but my concerns were dismissed. This was my family’s first time back to wildwood in 15 years and it was a very sentimental one. It was frustrating to be this let down when it was supposed to be such a special time for our family. Unfortunately we won’t be staying here again.

This nostalgic motel feels like a step back into the 1950s in the best way. We were lucky to snag a last-minute reservation for a Sunday night in July, which made the stay feel even more special. It's just a few blocks from a gorgeous beach, and for the location, the price is hard to beat. While the beds and fixtures are definitely dated, they add to the vintage charm—just don’t expect modern luxury. Overall, a great value with old-school vibes and unbeatable proximity to the shoreline.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Set your expectations right, and you will enjoy your stay. It is an old motel. So rooms are dated. Ours was clean with modern tvs and ok wifi. We spent most time outside and that is where you want to be. Located on the shore, you get wonderful ocean view. Short walk to the water. Plenty of parking and little car traffic. My kids love heated pool at the property and girls like to sunbathe by the pool or on the deck.

We loved every moment of our stay here! The location is ideal, just steps from the beach, and the property is always clean and well-kept. I appreciated the attention to detail from the family-run team. The kids had a blast in the heated pool, and we loved the convenience of grilling dinner. Can’t wait to return!
