We love the Oakview Hotel, the owner is the nicest lady in Wildwood. Can't get any closer to the boardwalk, not just the boardwalk but the center of it, where the rides are on the pier. The most convenient place to be. We come every year and wouldnt stay anywhere else. See you next year!

Excellent! Definately will be back! Right at the boardwalk! Best pizza within a block! Service was above and beyond! Room was clean! AC was cold! Very charming. Loved having a full kitchen in the apartment style room!

pleasant experience overall. Here are some key points that stood out to us: - Convenient Parking: The parking for the hotel is located just a block away in an underground lot. It's good to park in a corner spot, as this lot gets quite busy, and cars often end up blocking each other. - Bike Rental: If you enjoy morning bike rides with your spouse or family, this location is perfect. There’s a bike rental station conveniently situated right outside the hotel, literally just steps away. - Prime Location: This hotel is perfectly located for exploring all the attractions! Situated right in the heart of the boardwalk, it’s ideal for strolling. My wife and I plan to walk one half of the boardwalk one day and the other half the next. This area offers plenty of dining options and games. - Outdoor Seating: Our room was on the second floor, and we appreciated the chairs available for sitting outside and enjoying the view. - Room Amenities: The mini refrigerator was surprisingly spacious and included a freezer compartment. The room also had a microwave, which was convenient for quick meals. - Room Size: We anticipated a very small room, and while it was indeed compact, it proved to be comfortable enough for two people and a baby. - Bathroom: The bathroom is quite small, making it a bit challenging to walk past the sink. However, it was functional, and the shower had plenty of hot water. - Air Conditioning: The air conditioner functions excellently, perhaps a bit too well, as it made the room quite chilly! It looked almost new, suggesting it was recently replaced before summer. There's a rule requiring the air conditioner to be turned off when leaving for the day. When you return, the room might be a bit warm, but it's an understandable policy, and the room cools down quickly once the air conditioner is turned back on. - Limited Outlets: I would have appreciated more outlets throughout the room. Although there's an extension cord near the TV, it wasn’t quite sufficient for our needs. With our 7-month-old baby, we required additional outlets for items like the bottle warmer and sock monitors. - Missing Amenities:The room did not have an iron or ironing board. - Friendly Staff: The front desk staff member was incredibly friendly. (She may be the owner) She greeted me with a warm "hello" and "good morning," and even complimented my outfit if she liked it. A truly pleasant experience. Overall, we will definitely return to this hotel in the future. We have no complaints; our experience was excellent.

My boyfriend & I had a really great stay. The woman who checked us in at the office (she may be the owner) was very nice. Our room was on the second floor and had a private outdoor entrance. The room was recently renovated and very clean, the shower was nice and had hot water, ac in the room was cool, they provided fresh linens and the room came with a few basic kitchen appliances. They also have an outdoor shower to rinse off when coming back from the beach, which is also only a block away/short

My family and I stayed here in July. The rooms were cleaned and a good size for 3 people. There's a little kitchen so you can cook. In the back there are showers, so you can wash the sand off of you. The staff was friendly and accommodated. There's also free parking as well and its about maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the boardwalk. Definitely will stay here the next time we vacation at wildwood.

Old, but COMPLETELY refurbished. Rooms are very small, but redone & VERY clean: a top priority for me. Make sure you bring bath soap --- none provided. Glad I brought a hair dryer: none provided. Very clean bed linens & great bath towels. A very welcoming atmosphere. Chose this no frills property because it was bargain priced & 3 doors from the boardwalk/beach. Free parking during duration of our stay across the street @ a boardwalk parking garage a few feet away. Management very helpful & kind. Extremely walkable location.

I chose to stay at this hotel based off of the recommendation from my boyfriend who had come here quite often when he was younger. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here! We booked the studio room for a 4 night stay. From the moment we checked in our room was spotless! Every day our room was cleaned while we were gone and the owner was very friendly. The quiet atmosphere and private rooms made for a perfect shore getaway for the time we were there. The location is perfect, right near the boardwalk and beach. The price was, in my opinion, phenomenal for the location. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here. I felt welcomed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
