We recently stayed for two weeks at Sahara. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed on the first floor and had no issues with clean rooms. Our cleaning girl Mary was great and friendly as well. I understand others who stayed with us on the second floor didn't have that same experience with their room being clean when they checked in and had to request it be cleaned again. But that was a different cleaning girl on the second floor. So it seems each floor is designated it's own cleaning person. I wondered why there were so many conflicting reviews about the clean/unclean rooms. Now I know why. The location of this place is ideal. Close to the beach and boardwalk and shops, etc. The one thing about the rooms is that I wish there were more hooks to hang clothing. Since you can't hang wet towels or suits on the railing, it left no place to hang things in our room or bathroom. There was not one hook or anything to hang the clothes or towels. It really made things tougher with it being a longer stay for us but otherwise I had no complaints. All motels at the shore are going to have sand, some mildew problems due to the extreme moisture but nothing that can't be fixed by letting them know. They do act promptly to fix any problems that occur. At least they did during my stay.

Great team they have there. They are good priced and bend over backwards to accommodate. Everyone is very friendly, the pool is heated and you're literally right there at the boardwalk and beach.

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend trip and it was amazing! You can’t beat the location — right on the beach and just steps away from the boardwalk. We loved waking up to the ocean views and spending the afternoons walking to shops, restaurants, and rides. The room was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The staff was really friendly too and made us feel right at home. It was the perfect spot for a fun and relaxing trip. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This motel is in the best location in Wildwood right on the beach and the boardwalk. Me and my family have been coming here for the last six summers and each year we love it more. The staff is so sweet and always so accommodating. The rooms are great, especially having two children. We can’t wait for the summer. My kids are already asking to go back!

Kind of sad to write this review honestly. I've been staying at the Sahara every single summer since 2010 and I have made so many memories there. However, last summer it costed me $1492.15 for a room for 5 nights. That's almost $300 a night. There has not been any updates in the room for literal years now. The furniture is exactly the same. The pool closes early. If someone is using the pool and has a large group it's hard to even share it. For $300 a night it is just not worth it. This year I was able to book a flight to Florida with my hotel included for a cheaper price. Makes me sad because I've been going to Wildwood every summer.

I have been staying here every summer for 20+ years. It is not a fancy modern location but staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and the location couldn't be better. Steps from boardwalk and beach. Every year we come back and look forward to see what updates have been made. Love the nostalgic feel, reminds me of beach vacations as a child.

I will NEVER come here again. This motel is utterly unprofessional and disgusting. They're dirty and do not clean their rooms, their things are dusty, their staff is disrespectful and weird, their pools are also very nasty and dirty. It's all around nasty. If you wanna spend your money somewhere good, the Sahara isn't the place.

Literally if you were to dig up a dirt grave and sleep in that it'd be better than sleeping in this place. This place is NOT clean at all it's utterly disgusting being honest with you, no one is nice either theyre all just kind of weird besides like the house maids. There was one lady who was mad rude and disrespectful who no one seems to like because of it. Bad motel DO NOT stay here.

The worker was like extremely rude and yelled at me, my kids, & my elderly mother (79). Not only this but she stuck her finger in our faces saying we "dont belong there". I feel discriminated against, and I feel disrespected. The rooms were also very dirty, dust everywhere, mold, dirt on the beds.. do not come here.

10/10 we go every year to wild wood and love the Shara! There was a year that was a little outdated but the next year it was fine updated the furniture and all but all clean!Staff if amazing love Jonathan and Stacy and Margaret! Location is amazing at the end of the boardwalk so near the tram turnaround if the trams are crowded! So close to the beach less then 100 steps to get on beach! Super close access to the boardwalk! Overall really good been going here fire 20 years! Also amazing views
