Great location but beware these are condos not a true motel. I can only speak to the unit I stayed in, but we had to leave early from unit 209 after waking up covered in probable bed bug bites. Hard avoid.

I stayed here with my boyfriend it was great to be near the beach and the pool was great but the room was awful the floors were filthy everytime my boyfriend and I walked on the floors our feet were black and covered in dirt, the bed matress was rock hard so uncomfortable to sleep on, the bathroom was disgusting not clean at all, the toilet was covered in dirt and stratches and would not flush properly, the toilet water smelt like urine even when it was not used, the noise from 10:00pm-1:00am was ridiculous if you have kids I would not recommend staying here because they won’t sleep my boyfriend and I did not fall asleep until 12:30pm because of the loud noises and people talking loud and screaming but other than that we had a great time at the beach and the pool!!!!

Service fine. Five minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are very outdated. Needs to be cleaner. The beds are hard a rock. My girl and I were here for one night. The light came right through the curtain. We barely got any sleep. But we had a great time together. But please update the rooms.

Both the name and much of the website misrepresent what this place is, it’s basically a motel with a nice pool. The room was clean but relatively dated. The beds were comfortable. The location is nice, it’s a good family area and the other people staying were nice. Overall not a bad place, but I feel I paid a lot for it, probably more than it was really worth (could be my fault for booking late though)

My boys, mom, and myself had a wonderful vacation while staying at Cara Mara. Location is quiet, clean, just a short walk to the beach and short drive to the games and rides on the boardwalk. The motel was also quiet, clean, family-friendly. The service was excellent, quick to clean rooms, responsive to our needs and friendly. The pool was very nice - warm, clean, uncrowded. Music and smoking is prohibited outdoors, making the environment peaceful and ideal for families. And the room prices are affordable. Loved it here. Would recommend. We will stay here again.

Rooms are individually owned, so the interior is the responsibility of the unit owner, hence every room is different. Our room had a ceiling fan while some other rooms did not. Pool on premises, no lifeguard. One car parking spot per room onsite, or you might choose free street parking on adjacent streets. The room was clean and well maintained. The room can be considered an efficiency - separate bedroom with 2 beds, and pull out couch in the living room. TV with cable in both rooms. A small, electric stove can be used. A full size fridge and some basic, plastic dishes and utensils are available. Unheated pool in front of the property. There are also gas grills for use. Walking distance to the beach

The location is amazing, in the quieter part of town. Even though the rooms need updating but staff is nice and accommodating. Highly recommended for a budget conscious, spur of the moment getaway.

This this is the best motel in this area. I’ve been couple times already and I have a good experience. Everything starts good from front desk Oksana it’s a great girl. She is very nice to people. Rooms are big and clean. Pool is beautiful and clean and everything was perfect. Very accommodated for everyone.
