A good room, right on the beach for excellent price. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the mattress was very uncomfortable - from the softness of it, I'd say it was long past its replacement date.

Room was comfortable, a/c was quiet and temperature was just right. Plenty of parking. Very friendly staff. Love the room with balcony that we were upgraded to for no extra cost. Also love being right on the beach, and having a lovely heated pool.

They have some of the largest rooms of any hotel in Wildwood Crest. Plenty of room to spread out. Two bedrooms, large kitchen, dining area and living room combined. (Type E - 3 room efficiency). A bit outdated but very clean. The pool could be larger but it's warm and facing ocean front. All staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great. It is the crest but it's only feet to the start of the boardwalk. I recommend Water's Edge.

We just returned from Water’s Edge where we have been staying for years. We’ve always been 100% happy with our stay until this year…. All my son did was take his shoes off at the door and walk across our room to the balcony and his feet were FILTHY. I had read in another posted review with the same issue. Our couch was also filthy as well and I had to cover it before using. With all the money we spent for our stay room cleanliness could have been much better, in addition to room updates.

Had a great stay here with our family (two adults and two kids). Spacious rooms with full kitchen stocked with all you need for cooking (besides the food, grocery store is close by), balcony overlooking the ocean, very clean. Had laundry, games for the kids to play by the pool, deck with chairs for relaxing overlooking the beach. and a delicious ice cream shop. Good location close a few blocks from the boardwalk (but still technically Wildwood Crest so a nicer surroundings). Would definitely stay here again.

It's your classic Jersey Shore motel/hotel. Great location. Very nice staff. The pool on a busy summer weekend was a bit of a zoo, but not unexpected. The highlight was the 2 bedroom Penthouse suite. Room 508. Very nice suite. Full kitchen. The best part was the huge private rooftop deck. Hung out there every night. Front row view of the ocean. Worth every penny.

Wonderful place to stay!! Stayed here 16 years ago for my daughter’s first beach trip and it was perfect then with extended family and 5 of us in a 2 bedroom suite it was perfect. This time just my fiance and I and got the king size bed hotel room and it was amazing! Rooms are a great size and everything was super clean. The staff is amazing and always available to answer any questions you have or give recommendations on where to go for dinner. Nice and quiet with private balcony looking at the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place for a beachfront getaway. There is everything you need here. The units are nice and go up to three bedrooms. The pool is beautiful and heated. We were so happy to extend our summer here this week.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly, and the location was great. We rented the 2 bedroom suite which was spacious and came with all the amenities, which was nice. Unfortunately the floors of all rooms was absolutely disgusting and left our feet black. I wouldn't normally care and just walk around with shoes no problem, but we were traveling with our baby who loves to roll around everywhere. I brought a blanket for her to use on the floor, but sometimes she rolls off it and I had to be very diligent about that here. They just felt gross too, like all summer they weren't mopped at all. We also didn't know the hotel played music on the loudspeakers from 9am-9pm which was kind of annoying, especially when you want to put a baby down for a nap. Overall, if you aren't traveling with a young child, this place would be perfectly fine and a standard accommodation for wildwood. The location is great, but they should wash their floors more frequently!

Came to Waters Edge with family that has never been here,they live in Florida. They were so happy with everything especially the location that we are coming back next year, already booked. There is an older Maintenance man with gray/white hair that is so knowledgeable and helpful. He made us stay with his humor and always a smile on his face. The office staff so very nice,also.
